RSVP Responses

Just need to vent for a moment.

We got our first RSVP today. I was so excited. Then I read it. The RSVP stated: "2 seats have been reserved in your name, ___ are coming." or something to that manner...anyway, they wrote, "3 possibly"

UGH!

    That is the main reason that I am writing the names of people that are invited on the RSVP with NO room for additional people.

    Hopefully we won't have anymore of these & have several "no" responses (the ones I look forward to the most, to be honest) & it won't matter. However, if we don't, FH & FMIL will have to make a call.

    Yeah, stuff like this is why we're taking the extra time to actually write out the names on the RSVP cards with no extra lines for people to add their own.  If people don't like it, tough cookies.

    We are also going to write out the sames of guests so there is no room for their children or plus one's where they shouldn't be.

    In this case I would just call them and let them know that you are very sorry but can only offer them the two seats as indicated on the response card.  They should understand and get the picture maybe they were just hoping you would let it slide!

    At least this one said "if there is room" on it.
