Dang checklists and ticker!!

Now I completely understand why I have had a headache for the last three days when I rarely get them: I keep looking at my ticker and "checklist" on here. ARRRGGHH!

Nothing is done yet. I have to wait until August to do the two big projects. There are 103 days left before my wedding. I'm officially freaking out now. OK .. now I feel better!!

So here's the vow - I have to get the flower girl bucket done by next Tuesday. I promise. And if I don't - you guys have to call me a loser. Fair?? Smile

I have nightmares about that freakin' thing...........wedding on the brain much? Although some of their checklist stuff I just clicked on so it would go away, like honeymoon related ANYTHING since we aren't going on ours until February.
I'm offically at 75 days....when did that happen?!
What are these two big project snarky?
If you get to be loser, I get to be procrastinator.  My invites have been waiting for me to take them down to the post office, but I haven't had the energy to do so.  But I"m doing it today, I swear!  That sun better come out sometime soon...I've been up since seven this morning, and I'm determined enjoy my day off. Is it so much to ask to just want to be able to lay out in the sunshine with a  book and drink the ice tea I made!?

I just started checking anything that doesn't make sense with what we are doing on those lists. Got a day of planner? Sure I do (yeah right!) Tuxes rented? Nope but the boys shorts and shirts have arrived. Check!! Talk with the cater? Since its us doing everything -- sure. Check!
My two big projects are the wedding favors and the 100 to 200 pinwheels for aisle and reception decorations. My craft posse can't get together to do them until Aug. 7. Which is good and bad - good because it will go fast with all of them and right now I have no place to store them except my dad's house (and I haven't asked him yet!). Bad- it's so far off that I'm worried. Mike (the FI) tells me to just breathe and work on the other stuff. I just want to get them done but I know its better to wait anyway!

Favors -- paper chocolate cake slices from Michaels filled with chocolate aquarium rocks and goldfish crackers. Got the chocolate (stored in the outside freezer so I don't see it and don't eat it!). Crackers will be easy to find. But the slices have to be glued together, plus the "Splish Splash ribbon weaved through the back. And to top it off - either "with love" or "bliss" embossed in white or light blue on top to look like icing!

Pinwheels -- were making them from chocolate brown paper and light blue paper. I still have to order the paper and we have to get the dowels to glue them too. Crap ... that means I have to find the glue gun. Hadn't even thought of that until I started typing it. That's gonna be a nightmare. I may just go buy one or borrow one from the craft posse rather than go on a scavenger hunt in my former office or garage!!

Get the invites to the PO - you procrastinator you! Then go layout and read. I'm envious!! Smile I'm off work for now. Went in worked three hours until 9 and now I'm free until 1 and then I'll be working until 7 tonight. I figured I'd do nothing between now and then. See if destressing destroys the headache!!

I stopped looking at the checklist on here.

I have my own check list since my wedding is so not what TheKnot wants it to be.

Snarky, sweetheart... You'll be fine. ;) if you can't find your glue gun, just go to the craft store.. they sell some for like... $3.

    But seriously.. I promise, you'll be a-ok.

Snarky - I just can't get over all the graduations you have to go too. I seriously think I'd purposely injure myself to get out of it. Breath and pop some Excedrin (preferably with alcohol of some sort.) Everything will get done.

Screw the timeline on here, I don't think it really helps anyone anyway.

SARAH - MAIL YOUR INVITES! Then you can read guilt-free. Reading anything good at the moment?

    Wedding Countdown Ticker

Just go and check a bunch of things that seem minor off the ticker. I did that and it made me feel better. Kind of like writing things that you just did on your to-do list and then crossing them off right away. Just did that too. I paid a bill, added it to the bottom of my to-do list and then crossed it off.

If you actually look at the list, it is so repetitive. It says things like:
    -Think about your dress
    -Imagine yourself in a dress
-Look up addressses of dress stores
-Look at dress pictures in magazines
-Look at dresses at the store
    -Try on dresses
    -Try on more dresses
-Go back to the stores and try them on again

You get the picture. Just by buying my dress, I crossed off 15 or so things.

    ATTENTION!

The  invites are officially in the mail....and I couldn't be more relieved.  I even took a picture!

Snarky I'm going to be in the same boat as you.  Our wedding favors are going to be my infamous pumpkin cookies with brown sugar icing, wrapped in cute little cellophane bags tied with ribbon.  Luckily, the cookies freeze super awesome, but  having to dip them all and put them in the bags....headache commence.  But I wouldn't do it if I didn't think I could handle it.  And I'm pretty sure you feel the same.  I wish I had a craft posse! My sister and my mom are really the only ones who are, and sis lives in Hillsboro, and my mom has been my go-to for just about everything lol.
Also, I'll be decorating about 1237128973981274 graduation cakes this weekend.  The word congratulations is going to start to look like it's spelled wrong with how many times I have to write it haha.

Nana right meow I'm reading George R.R. Martin's A Game of Thrones, it's the first book in a series called a song of ice and fire.  It's totally fantasy, which FI is all about, and everyone and their mom who has read them said they were amazing, so I figured I'd give it a shot.  It took me a little bit to get into, because he's a very descriptive writer, but I like it.  When I finish that (it's over 800 pages)  I'm going to read Bitter is the New Black by Jen Lancaster.  My sister LOVED it, and she's positive I will too. We have pretty similar tastes in lit. After that's done, I figure I'll jump back to Martin's books.

Thank you for allowing me to geek out.
