inexpensive wedding planner

Hello everybody!

I am looking for an inexpensive wedding planner.  Maybe someone who doesn't have their own huge business or is just starting out? 
I just want day-of help, but all the major places throw in alot more than I need and jack up the price for their "day of" prices.  They do wonderful work, don't get me wrong, I just can't afford them.
Any ideas?

    I wasn't going to hire one b/c I have everything planned and I have a couple of close friends that can help day of but I ended up hiring Joquetta Byrd with the No. 1 wedding planner company. Now I haven't actually met her yet but she is currently running a 50% package with her DOC being only $250 with the discount. She has 18 great reviews on wedding wire and for that price I figure what do I have to lose.

    I met with Kristy Rapp and Charisma Moran, and liked both. They both quoted me well under $500 for DOC. Granted, I had almost everything planned and in order, but they were good about working with my tiny budget. Kristy is at www.kristyrappevents.com and Charisma is www.charismamoranevents.com. Both ladies were very nice and organized and come highly recommended both here and on Wedding Wire. Good luck!

    I second kristy rapp and charisma moran.  I didn't use either but they are both inexpensive and I've heard good things about both of them.
