What's your first dance of the night?

I'm having a hard time picking the song to play as the first song to get everyone out on the dance floor. What are your suggestions?

I am doing an odd on because FI and I swing dance so mine won't be of much help to you.

I was just going to leave it up to the DJ....I figure he has a better of idea on how to fill the dance floor than I do.

We're doing Smile by Uncle Cracker and then the DJ is going to figure it out from there. We have a lot of kids and couples so who knows what will happen.

We just met with our DJ this weekend and he suggested that we start off with a slow song to ease/get people out on the dance floor. Because of that, we're doing "At Last" by Etta James.
