Hey ladies, I have been visiting this board for a while, posted a couple times, but I really wanted to dive in and become a part of!!!! We are in the happiest 6 months a little of our lives, and I think it's so cool that we have the chance to have other brides to go through it with!!!! Anyway I am marrying my best friend on April 13th.. And I can't wait!! Soooo what is the next thing on all of your wedding to do lists??

    Hi! Im in the same boat, kinda a lurker but love having this board to come to it needed. Hoping to post mor often now. Im also a April 13th bride! Next on my list is finding BM dresses, choosing a hair style and jewelry! i just sent out my std's Monday.

    Yay, we will dive in together lol!! I really need to get my std's out soon, still need about 15 addresses but I'm gonna get the stamps this week and send the ones I have. After those are out, I have a follow up appt with my linens/draping vendor.... Looking forward to nailing down the vision

    Saturday I am making the final decision on what bridesmaid dress color I want to go with. The dress from the store nearest me is $195 but if we order them online from a different vendor each dress is only $128 so that makes me feel better.

    We are in the middle of buying a house, so if the appraisal goes well it is ours! Once that happens I will (hopefully) be more into wedding planning. It is scary to think that my shower is right around the corner!

    Next up on my list is we have a cake tasting next week. And hopefully getting engagement pictures finally done, We've been rained out the last couple of times we have been wanting to go. I'm also trying to reel in the rest of my girls to order their dresses, only 2 have been ordered. Three more to go.

    I'm calling to schedule my cake tasting today! We're going suit shopping for my fiance this weekend!! I purchased 10 hot yoga classes, so hopefully that will help me get into shape a bit more. I plan on changing my eating habits the day after Thanksgiving. Hehe. Still need to pick a bridesmaid dress. But, that'll be a little difficult for one (of my only two) bridesmaids as she is pregnant.

    I feel like I have 100 things on my plate right now, but I worked on the guest list a lot last night which really helped me to relax a tiny bit!! :)

    We want to get our invitations and the grooms suit this month. We have all the big things done, but there's plenty of little things that need to be checked off my list in the next four months, I'm ready to get them done!

    We're really ahead on everything.. had engagement photos taken back in July and sent STDs in August. Had our menu and cake tasting last week and will at some point schedule an appointment to go over our custom cake design. The food at the venue is delicious, and theres SO much of it, I'm so excited!

    We bought FI wedding band a few weeks ago but having trouble finding mine, because the top and bottom of my ring are curved, and i don't want to spend $1400 on a custom band, but don't want to have a gap either.. meh.

    We paid the 30% deposit at our tasting, so that's all for payments until the month before the big day!

    We ordered bridesmaid dresses last month, and I as well have a pregnant BM and my MOH may be pregant by the wedding also.. Oh boy, hormones upon hormones lol. Also my dress came in last week, too big.. so that's been nervewracking.

    I have my hair trial tomorrow for the free contest I won, so I will decide if I like them or not, if not... I will go ahead and book with my first choice, who I have a feeling I will end up booking anyway because she does on location hair and makeup, and I really don't feel like traveling a half hour each way the day of just for hair. 

    I love how as I'm writing I'm just thinking out loud all the things I've done and still need to do, lol! So exciting how looking at our checklist we're getting down the 4-5 month list of things to do.. but each list starts getting longer and longer!
