Sweet and Salty Bar

We are doing a DIY "Life is Salty, Love is Sweet" buffet at our reception.
I've been brainstorming menu ideas for it. I'd love wide variety, I've thought of nuts, popcorn, chocolate covered pretzels, brownies or cakes... I also thought of fruit but do you think it would be out of place?

Does anyone have any ideas of delicious things I could include on it?

I think you have it covered! Fruit would be just fine, IMO. What if you did like chocolate covered strawberries or had a fountain for people to dip? That way some could have plain, others chocolate!

I might also add some things that aren't right what you think of when you think salty, like maybe pigs in a blanket. YUM.

If you have nuts, make sure that none of your guests have a nut allergy. I know from personal experience that having them there could potentially be life-threatening. Just a thought. Otherwise, it sounds yummy!!

cute idea! I like Erica's idea of the chocolate fountain (maybe because I'm craving chocolate? lol), and stuff to dip into it (pretzels, fruit, pound cake, etc).

Thanks for the ideas! I've got a good list started now.
I'm really loving that pigs in a blanket option... or maybe I just want them right now. :P
