Maria Elena belt/headpiece question

Hi Girls...I was married last October but I used to frequent this board.
I purchased a beautiful swarovski crystal headpiece (that I wore as a belt) for over 1k and I can't imagine I'll ever wear it again.  I don't think I am ready to part ways with it so I'm not sure I want to sell it.  I was wondering if any of you know if I could maybe rent it out to someone - as in charge them to borrow it?  I actually wished someone had offered this to me for my own wedding because I fought myself for months about purchasing it. I thought maybe there is a website out there for something like this.   I caved and bought it...and the poor belt is just sitting in the box in my closet!

    Wow that is stunning.  I'm sure you can post this locally, in your paper, on Craig's List, or some other local classifieds.  If you posted it here on TK's Classifieds you might get a hit.
    The only thing I'd worry about is getting it back.  You would have to have some kind of contract drawn up but even then, I'd worry that someone would take it and run.
    Maybe you could just keep it as an heirloom piece.

    I would have rented it from you.   I was actually talking to Cara about this before my wedding. I was going to ask you to borrow/ rent it, but I wans't sure how you would take it.
