I actually bought this dress for SIL (only bridesmaid) and she looked fabulous in it. Here's the link and she was going to wear the one in gray http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/adrianna-papell-tiered-chiffon-gown/3106871?origin=related-3106871-0-0-1-2

However, she's getting married in November and wants to try to get pregnant right after that... so I returned it. We can always get it again if she's not pregnant. Anybody seen a pretty gray maternity dress? lol

I love that dress!

All she would need is a dress that is like a chiffon material... loose and flowy to pull away from her tummy. Just look for dresses like that.

I want bridesmaid dresses with a floral pattern. I love this dress but it's too expensive:

OMG I am completely in love with all the BHLDN dresses, but they are way too expensive

I'm a little concerned about getting a maternity dress for her... it was hard finding a regular dress for her because she's 5" and has an E or F cup, but is petite otherwise... how much bigger is her chest going to get when she's pregnant?! LOL

i have no idea what i want them to wear

i'm getting married at a catholic church and the church would like them to not have strapless dresses, but that's what most of them want... I kinda want long dresses, but most of them like short dresses...

We are up in the air about long or short right now but I have narrowed it down to 2 that I really like.

They will be in royal blue though.

mymissingpuzzle: really like that maternity dress! That's totally along the lines of a dress that I want. Was trying to find something she could wear a supportive bra with though... I've seen her attempt strapless before and... it's not pretty LOL

I was so dissapointed when we had to return the dress because she looked completely fabulous in it and everyone loved it. But we'll figure it out- she may still end up with the original dress.

RebCappon: I think the long dress is so elegant. Have your bridesmaids tried them on yet?

I'm doing something a little crazy.

I'm letting each of my bridesmaids choose their own dress as long as they're all the same shade of blue.

My bridesmaids are all different sizes and have different styles, so I want them to like what they're wearing and feel comfortable in it.

This is the bridesmaid dress I chose. Both my MOH and my BM will wear the same dress, however my sister (MOH) is going to have pink shoes, and my BM will have black shoes, so they can be different. Their bouquets will also be wrapped in the matching color (black/pink).

I told mine to pick out any floor length, black dress they want. All of mine are of different heights and body types, and I want them all to feel awesome in what they wear. I don't even care that they come from a specific store even though they'd get $20 off their dresses from DB- but their customer service sucks so I'd like to give them the least business that I can.

Lol - I don't think that's crazy. That's what I'm going to do. 2 of my BMs are plus sized (and both shaped totally differently), the other is a tall, slender size 0. Finding 1 dress they all like and flatters all the different body types won't likely happen, and it's not even worth the stress to try. I'd rather they all find something they love and feel awesome in than have them all match.

Letting my BM's pick their dresses as long as they are the same shade of eggplant (or as close as possible). I'm giving them a color swatch so they can match it. My BM's all ahve different bodies and they know what looks good on them so I don't feel it is my place to tell them what to wear :-)
