DJ Needed

Any suggestions for a good and inexpensive DJ? When I originally planned my budget I didn't realize how much they cost and now only have about $500 for this and I can't find anyone under $800!Thank you for any suggestions!

    We are booking with Northwest Mobile Sound and Lighting. They are having $100 off any package right now, but I think there is a specific time that you have to have your event within in order to get that discount. I think if you choose the lowest priced package, that may put you near or just above your budget. It's tough to find an inexpensive DJ.

    You could also check craigslist, but I would do my research and interview anyone you find on there.

    We booked Jeff Hill and he was $750 at the time.  Not sure if his rates have gone up or not but it's another option.  I haven't heard of many people that would be around the $500 mark but agree with PPs about checking craigslist.

    IDK if this would help, but you could try checking with some that are outside the Seattle area, like in Oly and see if they are cheaper and would travel.  I was going to use one from Oly that is a friend of FI and he was about $500, but one of my friends is going to do it basically for free.  Yay.

    Definitely use DJ Rilo.  The MCing and DJing is quality!  They are wililng to work with your budgeting needs but without compromising the DJing. I know them personally and they've been in the business several years and have DJ'd over 40 weddings.

    They're super helpful and would definitely work with your budget...last I knew, 4 hrs was like $600...but it's worth calling to see if they'd work with your budget!
