RSVP rant

I didn't have formal invitations so my RSVP was asking guests to either call me/FI or email their RSVP to the email addy I gave on the invitation. I sent them out almost a month ago and have only gotten 3 RSVP's. I know most of our guests are immediate family but still, they still need to respond. The date I put on there was July 1st so I know I still have some time but I'm nervous because I never got the flood of responses like most of you did.

Ugh.

You are not alone. My deadline is June 22nd and I'm waiting on 105 people to let me know if they are coming or not.

Our deadline is July 1st and we're still waiting on 101 people (more if you count the WP, UGH!)

Our deadline was today and we are waiting on 25 responses.... we have already started the tracking down process as most were friends so we sent FB messages that said today was the deadline we didn't get anything let us know what you are doing and sorry in advance if this crossed in the mail.

I'm still waiting on 45 people. Deadline of July 1st. I have to have my numbers in July 12th for the wedding date of July 29.

I'm freaking out as 3 response cards have gotten lost in the mail. FBIL and his GF live seperate. They mailed on the same day from the same post, only got FBIL about 3 weeks ago.

Another was a GM and his GF and they asked us if we got it, it was mailed 3 weeks ago.

Because of this, I asked one of my friends as he was chatting to me saying can't wait till, and I said by chance did you mail yours? He said yes in mid May. That one never shown up.

I'm in a panic over this and I haven't seen any responses in 2 weeks now.

What is wrong with all of these people? I was hoping "these people" wouldn't entail my friends and family, but they are!! We are waiting on 42 people (23 rsvps) to rsvp by next Friday, June 22nd.

My deadline was June 11th and was missing 80 people at that point. But a lot of them have been trickling in this week. Late, but still... I just don't understand why it is so hard to check a box and drop a pre posted envelope in the mailbox! lol

People are so rude. MY first cousin told me she didnt know if she would be coming because she might be going on vacation with her loser, cheater boyfriend that weekend...then emails me the next day to say they are coming to the wedding - - yet i still have not gotten an rsvp?

We had this happen with invites! Lost three in the mail!! They seem to be getting less reliable instead of more...Especially with them needing money!

In regards to RSVPs ours were due yesterday, we got 4 today in the mail. We're waiting on 17 RSVPs and 45 people. And some of those RSVPs weren't mailed to us, they're from FMIL telling me who wasn't coming....I told her if they were coming I needed an RSVP card.

I have 214 invited...of about 140 responses I have gotten back, about half have the initials X, 1, or a check mark...lol. SO ANNOYING! I have decided for most of them to just guess which dish is for which person.

My RSVP date was May 25, as there was so much I had to do, that I needed the numbers. Anyway, I found most people do not RSVP until the week before. A few days before I started calling people.....lol.
