Bridesmaid Dress Help Needed

My bridesmaids have very different body shapes. I want them to be able to pick a style of dress they feel the most beautiful and comfortable in. I want them to also be able to pick from different hues of blue (wedding color) for their dresses as well. Can anyone suggest a dress line that will offer all of the above and not break the bank? Breakdown: various styles, hues, same material, and not too expensive. Thanks!!! :)

  • I would say try David's Bridal.  Almost all of their dresses come in every color they offer.  You can choose a color and have your BMs chooses dresses that work with their body types.

You might get better responses if you post your question on the Attire and Accessories board.

  • I agree, david's bridal. Just tell them what color & length. That's what I did. I figured if they all got the same color and length there would be some uniformity to the look but they would all have dresses they liked. The ironic thing, my girls of different sizes & body types & heights, all ended up picking out the same dress. Simple strapless with drapped side w/brooch. Looks great on all of them.
  • Hi Amy

I agree with the other two ladies. I worked at a store which was affiliated to David's Bridal. They have many different shapes, styles and colours. Im sure you could find something to suit and if by some chance you dont, google the "infinity dress" or "converatble wrap dress". Its a very versatile dress as you can create many many different styles from it based on how you wrap it. It would usually come in some sort of stretchy fabric, not to worry there are certain types that have a lovey sheen for a formal do, and its an empire waistline which suits a lot of figures.

    Cheers and goodluck!
