Rant: I need to find someway to get our programs printed or I might just scrap the whole plan of having them!

$ is tight, and I'm just worried about having to spend more $ that we don't have

Rave: I'm not stressed out and our wedding is just 8 days away!!

Weekend Plans: Saturday: getting my hair done for the last time before the wedding, I'm going to pick up my cake topper, and on Sunday my mom and I are going to finish the place cards (attaching them to sand dollars) and hopefully picking up the last bunch of candy for the candy bar!

Rant: We didn't meet our quota for out hotel block, and now we have to pay for the shuttle service!

Rave: I'm getting a pedicure and manicure today, along with a massage! Much needed after this week!

Weekend plans: My bachelorette party is tomorrow! I'm ready to have a good time!

Rant: I'm scared to death we're gonna run outta money..... AND, FI's boss told him to wait a bit til he cashes his check, cuz it won't clear... WHAT?!?!?! (I think they've since gotten it fixed... WHEW.... Totally freaked out for a bit...)

Raves: Got my dress back yesterday... IT'S PERFECT!!

Weekend plans: Not a whole lot...Chill before the chaos... Finish up the signs for the wedding, figure out the memorial piece for our grandmothers, and try not to get eaten alive by mosquito's.... (we live in the country and my little boy wants to fish every single minute of everyday, and the bugs are REALLY bad this year...lol!)

15 days and counting!! WOOHOO!!!!

Rant: I feel so unorganized with wedding stuff everywhere along with stuff from my apartment now! I also am starting to get stressed with house searching - we are in a counter-offer war on a house right now..

Raves: I'm excited for the weekend - see below! I also got to see my future kitty yesterday, she is so calm and sweet, I can't wait to get her after the honeymoon!

Weekend Plans: I graduate from college tomorrow with FI! YAY

We also have a Cinco-De-Mayo themed grad party after the graduation ceremony with taco in a bag, margaritas, tequila sunrises, and festive cupcakes!!

This is my first one of these so here goes...

Rant: I had three couples from my office tell me yesterday they cannot make it to my wedding even though they RSVP'd and one even asked if she could add a guest last week! Ugh

Rave: Everything is coming together! My DIY's, etsy orders and everything else are all going swimmingly.

Weekend Plans:

FRIDAY NIGHT-Hunking down tonight with the fiance and knocking out some other half done DIY projects:

Cigar bar set up to iclude matches
Drink Stirrers
Carnival straws
Pens

day of timeline
OOT Bags

SAT DAY- Going over final choices for DJ and Bluegrass Band, Finalizing Ceremony, working on Vows, Make Wine and Love Letter Ceremony box, figure out dessert bar set up, work on cake topper, etc

Sat Night-Cinco De Mayo Party with friends. Best part...I am bringing all of my fabric flower materials and all the girls want to help me make some!!!!

Sunday- Finish wedding planning book that needs to go to coordinator, kids activity books and centerpiece, brochures for OOT bags, wedding wands, a few more pomanders, burlap favor pouches.

There is tons more but you get the idea. Wedding , wedding, wedding. Luckily I have some great friends and family that are super crafty to help me out!!!!

TGIF INDEED! This has been such a long week!

Rants: work stress, money worries, plus dress alterations stress (see post below)

Raves: 2 weeks from tomorrow-- SO EXCITED! Also excited for this weekend!

Weekend Plans: Tonight /> cooking and baking / spending time with Mom and my Sister. Saturday /> I am throwing a bridal luncheon for my bridesmaids, the mothers, grandmothers, and my director (who has been so much more than a "director" through this process! So excited to spend some time with the awesome women in my life. Saturday night-- getting lots of projects DONE! [printing programs, deciding on day of schedule, finalizing ceremony music, cutting fabric, ordering last bit of fabric that I need, etc.] Also need to get a few things done at the new house.

Rants: Tired, stressed and BROKE! I need a break!

Raves: Only 2 weeks left and only 1 more week of work!

Weekend Plans:

Tonight- dinner with FI after visiting his mamaw and then maybe watch a movie at home. Need a little R&R tonight and hoping to get some much needed sleep.

Sat- Shopping with my mom. Get the real flowers finished ordering and then need to finish getting stuff for centerpieces. Also going bowling with FI's cousin (GM) and his FI that night going to enjoy a little date night.

Sun- ORGANIZATION! I need to organize the bedroom with all the stuff and seperate everything into ceremony and reception. I also need to clean and do laundry so FI and I can pack up more stuff for the honeymoon.

Rants: the weekend is only 2 days long.
Raves: I love my new house

Tonight: Dinner with fi, then shopping for paint/curtains for the house
Tomorrow: Going down to the Maryland Sheep and Wool festival, cause I'm weird like that
Sunday: Taking my 90 year old grandmother dress shopping for the wedding (she refused to go before May)...should be interesting.

Rants: Don't have too much to complain about! I have to work next week! Sort of wish I had the whole week off, just cause, but I don't have enough holidays!

Raves: I don't feel overly stressed and the wedding is 8 days out! I"m feeling quite prepared and ready for it.

Weekend plans: FI has his bachelor party on Saturday, so after what i'm hoping is a fairly relaxing night tonight, we might go sweep our church (the one we bought, we've done a bunch of demo in it and we want to take pictures in there so we need to sweep up a bunch of debris), i can hopefully get FI to help me with some stuff tomorrow afternoon, buying mix for the drinks, and a few other wedding related things. Saturday night i'm going out for supper with a couple girlfriends while FI is getting what i can only imagine will be incredibly drunk. Then Sunday plans are up in the air we'll see how bad FI's hangover is! lol

RANTS: Getting nervous that my cake jewelry hasn't come in yet. My cake has rhinestone brooches on it and my baker was originally quite specific about what she wanted me to use. I looked high and low for what she specified, which was cake jewelry on long prongs that could be stuck into the cake, but couldn't find it. Finally, earlier this week she told me I could use regular brooches and she would make it work. Well, that's fine but now I have to order them with expedited shipping and hope they come in time. I'm sure it will be fine

RAVES: My FI's gift came in today. He originally said he didn't want a gift but I knew I had to get these cufflinks since we're having a James Bond theme. I love them! Oh - and that today is my last day at work until May 21!

WEEKEND PLANS:
Tonight I'm surprising FI with our date. That night that everyone suggests you have just before the wedding chaos. There's a band playing at a vineyard not far from us so we're going there to relax. Then tomorrow until whenever will be finishing DIY stuff and getting the poor house in order before guests start arriving next week.

Rant: People have been giving me tude about their RSVPs. I'm sorry, but the RSVP date was April 20th, don't get pissy with me for calling you to get info on if you're coming. And some people havne't bothered to get back to me...oh well, we have everything set up for the max # people anyways, but still. So rude...

Rave: Today FI and I will have everything done! Minus the cake and music. Can't make up our minds...

Weekend Plans: Little sister (BM) and I are going hiking with MOH and her friend. With all the stress of everything lately we need it. Then going to finish the centerpieces.

Rant: I seem to have lost my brain somewhere and it doesn't seem to be coming back. i'm stressed about this stupid audit for work the day I come back from vacation. And about the lack of support available. I'm a one person department, I just wish I had a genie to do my friggin filing. That would be sooo helpful.

Rave: That it's only a week I get to see my sister finally!!! She's flying in the morning before the wedding. Not that that's more important than getting married, but after all she's been through the last couple of months, I just want to give her a big hug!

Wknd Plans: Tonight - we're having a date, just cause I'm going to have him running all over the place tomorrow. LOL And I have to give him incentives BEFORE he'll do it. LOL

We have to
1. go to storage bldg.
2 buy all the cokes, water etc for the RD and the reception
3. order RD food
4. get his haircut
5. get parts to install my mom's new dishwasher we're getting her for mother's day that she knows nothing about and then inistall it while she's at work
6.finish painting the trim in our newly remodeled bathroom
7.finish cleaning out the spare bedroom so my sis has a place to sleep
8.give the stinky beagle a bath

yeah I might have to buy him several beers tonight.

Rave: Only one more week of work!!

Weekend Plans: Dinner & drinks with friends tonight. Hanging with the FI the rest of the weekend, it's my last full weekend home in NC before I leave to go to OH (without FI, he's coming up 4 days later)... but we might head out to the beach for the day tomorrow

Rants: Feeling so stressed and would love to have a date night with FI and My cousin and her FI but FBIL decided he wanted a "brother's" night.

Raves: FIL's are awesome she got us a recliner, a loveseat, two dressers, and some cute shelves and things for our house! I just love it all. And my parents are getting us a Queen bed!!

Weekend Plans: FI and I are going Yard Saling to hopefully find a couch and then I have my Bridal Shower, and after that I have the final set of my Bridal photo shoot!!

So excited!
