Reeves-Reed Arboretum

Has anyone used the arboretum for their wedding ceremony? Pros and cons? Fiance and I will be visiting this Friday to consider using for our ceremony.

    i love the spot but we tried to use it for our pictures after the wedding. the customer service is lack luster and they never call you back. they were having an event the day of our wedding, the set up was really nice

    I am interested in having my ceremony at Reeves in June.  I am really nervous about the weather.  What happens if it rains?  Anyone have any info??

    They were a total nightmare to deal with! The grounds are nice, but customer service is zero. I dreamed of having my ceremony/ wedding at Reeves-Reed Arboretum but their rental manager Joyce was rude and untruthful. 

    After I told them I wanted to give the deposit to rent the grounds they followed up with an email that there would be construction going on in a specific place  on the estate during my rental date. They totally failed to mention this to me during my 1 hour visit to the grounds the day before. When I asked what the back-up plan/ refund policy was if the construction scope was much bigger than expected and infringed on the garden where the ceremony was to be held, they said no refunds or gaurentees could be made.

    When I questioned this policy they were rude and obnoxious.

    Have your wedding someplace where they will be helpful and appreciate your business!
