main course

has anyone considered serving braised short ribs and a fish sort a surf and turf deal and if so what kind of fish is good

    We're considering doing a surf n turf but the FI is set on a steak-probably Filet.  I absolutely love lobster and prefer shellfish so that's the route we are taking.  A lot of my friends had crabcakes since their wedding was in Baltimore.  Also, if you are looking to do a fish, maybe stick with a white fish that isn't too fishy-like halibut, sea bass, or tilapia...

    A really good mild fish is Haddock. It is one of the only fish i will eat because it does not at all have that fishy taste to it. Usually it stays nice and moist also.
