  • In the third ward, downtown Milwaukee. Plus we're not religous so that would totally be weird to have a church wedding if that were even possible I wouldn't know where to begin

  • you could do the domes, villo filomena, war memorial, the lighthouse, terrace art museum. hubbard park lodge... just some thoughts =)

  • I live in Georgia and I'm from Wisconsin. Weird huh? Ok, anyways...I'm just throwing this out there as an idea. I grew up in Kenosha, WI. I know of a few people who had their graduation party and wedding at the Kemper Center. I haven't been in there for a few years but the last time I was in there I was really impressed. They may have remodled it since then. You can have your ceremony and reception there. It's right on the lake and there is plenty of parking. Here's the website if you'd like to check it out

  • I second the war memorial! That's where I'm getting married and I actually live in Florida too! It can be an indoor or outdoor wedding and is not a church :)
  • Is there a reason why you can't have the ceremony at the same location as your reception?  We did that and it worked great - especially for our guests - park once and you are set for the event.

  • We are having our ceremony at the North Point Lighthouse.  It is beautiful there and with a great view of Lake Michigan.  The outside can fit about 150 people, but if it rains, they can only fit about 90 people inside.  So I think it would work well for your size wedding.  We aren't religious at all either, so it is perfect for us!

Love all of these places! But I want to explore a budget friendly option before I dish out the cash considering we already went over budget for the reception venue :x

  • The south shore park pavilion is rentable through Milwaukee County Parks and is more budget friendly.  They have many other park pavilion buildings within a 5-10 mile radius of the 3rd ward as well.

Again, like someone else suggested, can you do it at your reception location?
