Puna Cana Honeymoon Question...

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a good start to your Friday :)

I have a questions I am wondering about.. and it may sounds stupid, but oh well! haha

We are going to a very well-respected resort in Puna Cana.. They bring in their own water for ice and bottled to drinks.. I know not to shower with my mouth open and not to brush my teeth with their water.. but how about the pools and stuff?? Are those completely safe?

Also, what kind of medicine did everyone take with them? Other than multi-vitamins, pro-biotics, and stomach meds (pepto) to take are there any others you reccomend?

Our travel agent had mentioned something about some kind of medicine "incase we were to get ill while there" and wasn't sure exactly what kind of illness you was referring to.

    Which resort are you going to? We are going for our honeymoon as well... From what I have read from reviews the medicines you've mentioned are good. Make sure you take lots of bug spray too!

    are you planning on drinking the pool water LOL you'll be fine-no reason to be crazy about it.  i don't recall there being an issue with drinking the water in PC.
    also-with pepto, immodium, allergy meds and cold stuff just in case you'll be fine.
    i suggest that you ask the person who told you about the other medds what she meant-we coud probably speculate forever.......

    I am a HUGE worry wart, haha...

    We were thinking about the water in the pool and we have a plunge pool on the balcont of our suite, so I started getting into my crazy a** hypochondriac mode!

    We just returned from Zoetry and had no issues with the water whatsoever!  Like you mentioned, no opening your mouth in the shower.  We were told we could use the water to brush our teeth and both of us did without any problems.  However, if you're concerned about it, there's plenty of bottled water.
