  Kuipers Family Farm is pretty far out west but it is AMAZING.  They have apple picking, pumpkins, the whole nine yards...

  
  

  Their apple cider donuts, though, are a masterpiece.

  I think everyone needs to go to Stateville haunted prison at least once. It's so scary and so Halloween!

  I grew up going to Bengstons too! @hz--on my way to MKE this weekend, the road was packed with cars parked at Apple Holler

  I've gone to County Line Orchard in Indiana the last few years. Apple picking, pumpkins and amazing donuts.  We're missing halloween this year because we'll be on our HM. . . guess I can't complain too much

  It's at Chicago Party Animals (an event space for dogs) in the West Loop.  It's a halloween party from 2-5 and it's indoors and they'll have some beer/bloody marys and snacks for humans and then a bunch of doggie treats from the food truck Fido to Go!
  
  They also have a really cool event on Wednesdays called Waggin' Wednesdays where the food trucks come and humans can eat and drink while the doggies play and the proceeds go towards a charity each week.  Super cool!
