Where did you have your e-pics done?

We are having the hardest time coming up with a spot to have our engagement photos taken this spring.  We'd love something more casual and outdoors. Any and all suggestions appreciated!

We did ours downtown: Greektown/Comerica Park

What area specifically are you looking for. There are tons of metroparks, parks, etc. and cute downtown areas all over SE lower Michigan. If you can narrow it down you'll get a lot of good suggestions.

We did Belle Isle (casino, beach, bridges, grassy areas).  We also did an alley in corktown for grafitti pictures and we also went to some old abandoned plant that I can't remember the name of right now.... maybe the Packard Plant?

We also did Belle Isle. It was awesome. I love some of the pictures that have the Detroit skyline in the back. They turned out great.

Sorry for being non-specific.  We are trying to stay within about an hour of the Livonia area (for our photog who doesn't travel far for epics).  We are looking for something a bit rustic or with interesting color/texture, possibly some place with a barn.

We are not so interested in parks (not much texture) and downtown detroit.

    Thanks!

if you do the cobblestone farm as previously mentioned, you could stop by U of M campus on the way back-- lots of pic opportunities there, the quads, the churches, the downtown area--- lots of texture. The law quad is beautiful in pics.

We did ours in various locations in Kensington Metro Park... I know you said no parks but you can get completely rustic and some great scenic shots. There is also a beach area which made for pretty shots next to the willow trees

We had our first ones done in NYC - so we're gonna have some done on U of M's campus in the summer - since we're both alumni. I think that's a great place to get them done.

Perhaps you should get some on State street, the art museum and a coffee shop or two?
