Canadian Rockies

I was researching eloping spots in Alberta & BC & came across this site

http://www.rockymountainweddings.ca/cascade.html

Have any other brides to be dealt with these people, how were they?

I also was researching elopements in this area!

I don't have any experience with planners as I generally avoided them.

I personally think it's a better deal to go with a hotel/lodge that offers a "package" and then fill in the rest yourself (aka might require you call up your own commissioner).  Mainly because these wedding planners charge a LOT for something you could do ($6k???) and the photographer that comes with these deals are usually not to my liking.  I liked Eric Daigle and was going to go with him.

Here are some that I've found:

    Buffalo Mountain Lodge

    Deer Lake Lodge
    http://www.crmr.com/pdf/DL-ElopementPackage.pdf

Emerald Lake Lodge (we were going with this one if the timing turns out for us)
    http://www.crmr.com/pdf/ELL-ElopementPackage.pdf

Post Hotel and Spa offers gourmet meals, lodging, spa
    http://www.posthotel.com/posthotel/packages/index.html

Cathedral Mountain Lodge offers meal and elopement specials

    Moraine Lake Lodge
