Hi!
This is so overwhelming! A friend of mine suggested this site and there's SO much info it's great but I have no clue where to start.
My boyfriend of 6 years proposed in mid December in front of 400+ coworkers at his office Christmas party, it was nuts. I couldn’t be any happier
Now that the holidays are over we want to start talking about planning and all that jazz. I don’t want to start officially choosing dates until we have some cash saved up. I’ve heard so many stories about couples going over budget or taking out loans and get stuck paying it for years. I’m not very knowledgeable with what goes into planning a wedding except for the dress, ring, venue, food, you know the obvious ones. I guess my first question for now is this:What is considered 'peak season' for weddings? I read in one of the articles that it’s cheaper if you book during off peak. I appreciate any replies. You’ll be seeing my name across the message board in the near future every time I think of something to ask :P
