Food allergy hinderance

I'm on weight watchers and fruits and veggies are free (no points), my problem is that i have oral allergy syndrome and because of it i cannot eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and the ones that i can eat i don't like (oranges and grapes are an exception to this), I also have several other food allergies. I want to eat more healthily but i'm sick of eating the same things every day and it has become really difficult. Any suggestions???

  • If you are having to eat the same things, why not try different preparations of those foods?  There are so many ways to prepare veggies, so check on food blogs or recipe sites for different ideas.

  • I can't help you out too much, but I just want to let you know I feel your pain!  I am deathly allergic to nuts and it's so stressful/frustrating.  Everone on this board suggests "a handful of almonds is a great snack"...yeah, if I want to die.  PP has a great idea, research some new/unique preparations of the foods you can eat.  Try stir fry or curry for some new flavors perhaps?
