Weekend Updates!

so since Costlj is having the time of her life on a cruise ship right now, I figured I'd post this one while I thought of it.  What are your weekend updates, WR and NWR??

NWR- just had my birthday dinner with my family, it was a fun time

WR- I bought some old antiquey keys off ebay to use with escort cards but they are all rusty.  FI went out and bought a table sander that he "needs for a project anyway", and showed me how to polish up the keys with it!  They are coming out great but taking forever and making a rusty mess.  I have about 14 of the 50 done at this point.
Also my 5th bridesmaid picked out her dress (they are each getting a different one).  So just my sister left to pick hers!  She's 7 months preggers right now and wants to wait til she's not so she can see how things would fit.
8/12 March Siggy- reception venue!

WR-Not much really happened, was going to pick up supplies to work on the invites, but totally spaced it out.

NWR- I brought out my inner child and played dolls with my soon to be step daughter, had a very relaxing weekend over all at home.

This weekend however, my grandma and i will be completing the centerpieces for the reception and the alter, and i will post pictures when they are finished! Super excited for that!! :)

NWR - we did a whole lot of nothing, and it was nice.
WR - Our invitations came, which was a couple of weeks before our estimated delivery date, so that was a wonderful surprise.  My wedding day flip flops came, too, and I LOVE them!

WR: Found some polos for the ring bearers at the outlets this weekend.

NWR:  Spent some quality time with my girlfriends.  Went house hunting with the FI.  A little scary that we might be making an offer this week.

WR - we did both of our registries! Crate & Barrel had a registry event before the store opened, which was really fun. Breakfast, tour of the store, lots of personal attention (but they also left you alone if you wanted). We had a blast! Then, while everything was fresh in our mind, we went to Bed, Bath & Beyond and registered there, too. It was so much fun, especially since my fiance and I have really similar taste. Anyone else registering soon?

NWR: Went to friend's house for her Game Night birthday party. Learned some new games and had a blast playing Taboo.

WR:This was a productive WR weekend. On Friday, we booked our Honeymoon to Cabo San Lucas. On Saturday, I went with my MOH to reserve the location for my bridal shower. Then I went to BBB to start one of my registries. On Sunday, my venue had a bridal faire, FI and I went and I was selected by one of the vendors to receive $250 off their DOC services, which is $350. This came just in time, as I had currently been looking for a DOC.

<div>We registered last weekend! Same places too but we didn't make it to the C & B event- couldn't drag ourselves out of bed at 7:30 on a Sunday, lol. It was fun anyway, even though at BB&B our scanner died about two items in and we had to get another battery and apparently only one guy in the whole store knew how the scanning worked...</div><div>
</div><div>WR: Nothing got done unless you count Etsy browsing and shopping for dinner deals on groupon and livingsocial (we're doing pre-cana four nights this month and I feel like treating my non-Catholic FI to some good meals pre-pre-cana!)</div><div>
</div><div>NWR: FI and I did some work around the house (vacuumed, changed some lightbulbs, planted arugala in a windowbox, made pierogis) but I'm pretty wretchedly sick so spent most of the weekend, especally Sunday, bundled up on the couch with my laptop. We did take a walk on Saturday to get some bubble tea after our big clean and that was nice.</div>

WR: Have been working with our designer on invitations and they're stunning!  I think we're almost finished now.  I'm also working on finalizing music for our wedding ceremony.  I added our registry links to our website, and finished sending out a few save the date stragglers.

NWR: we're training for a 10 mile race this May, so we ran a bit over the weekend.  Other than that we hung out with friends and relaxed.

WR: Picked up a few items to work on our bird cage card holder that is about 75% complete. Reviewed our catering contract and will put that in the mail with our deposit this week. Did wedding inventory of our glass items by writing down descriptions, cost and taking pictures. We have a lot!

NWR: We had both of our new neighbors move in this weekend, above us and across from us. I will be glad when things settle down and all the pictures get hung up! Friday we had dinner with friends and had a Sequence showdown.

NWR: Got back from my trip to see my sister on Saturday. Had a great time in phoenix and vegas. Took my family nurse practitioner exam yesterday...and PASSED :)

WR: While out in Phoenix, my sister and I went bm dress shopping. While shopping and seeing how bad some of the dresses looked...I changed my mind about having different dresses for the girls...and as long as no one forgot to tell me they got a dress...we should be getting these ones....but caymen blue (it's a navy)...and prob knee length...haven't decided.
