Videographer

Any suggestions for videographers? I am looking at New England Bride online and they have this big list of videographers so I'd like to know if any of you girls are using them or have used them and what your thoughts were to help narrow it down. If so, did you get the package including getting ready, or just the ceremony/reception.  For those that used a videographer for your past wedding, do you feel looking back the money was well spent? Thanks!

    I didn't use a videographer due to the cost, but I wish I had.  There is so much of my reception I don't remember (it was only this past Sunday).  I would have liked to see it as my guests did.

    We used Rebecca Curtis, too...she was most affordable and we liked her samples. Our video came out great. I think it was worth the money because the day went by so fast we barely remembered what happened. I was glad to hve the ceremony and toasts and stuff to look back at. I wouldn't have spent $1000 or more on one, though, we had a tight budget.

    I booked Nancy Flemming...  she came reccommended from several people, including some of my other vendors. Video wasnt in our original budget, and added it just 3 months ago --our wedding is in 3 weeks... I researched several sites and found there is a wide range of prices and a bigger variety of the quality you can get for those prices. She seemed like exactly what I want for the price I wanted to pay...

    I've heard great things about the ones above.

    I don't know your budget, but if you're looking for a "movie"  type that will give you chills, here are my 3 personal favorites in order.  I'm using #3 because they were the only ones who could book as early as we wanted and he had a feature that my FI really wanted.  #1 I couldn't have the owner.

    1) McEllroy Films-  They have amazing packages and you can work with them to customize.  Ben, the owner you'll fall in love with him instantly.  There are a few others that are equally as good.

    2)  Trish & Michael Films-  They are awesome.  Not as many packages to choose from though but I love them.

    3)  The highest of them all but amazing quality with 2 people built into the package already and from start to finish.  So its worth it when you think about everything that comes in the package.  He is very very nice and loves what he does.  He makes you feel right at home in his own home.

    I'm using Rebecca Curtis as well.  Basic package I think was $425.00.

    Thank you so much this is so helpful!!! I wanted to stay around 1000 but I would go to 1500. I don't know if I can get the movie style for this price, but I really love that look.

    We used Brian Norton, (New Creations Video Productions), out of Nashua.  He was great during the ceremony--very professional and stayed for the entire evening.  We haven't seen the video yet---he's editing it and said it may take several weeks before we get it back.  His price was very reasonable too.
