Wacky Weekend

Now that school is over (I'm a teacher, for those of you who don't know), I can focus on the other million things. Crazy busy weekend for me!

Tomorrow (Thursday) I have to get my oil changed in my car and then my friend is coming over to help choreograph a dance. Then I have worship team practice and then my friend is going to practice the song she's singing with my pastor's husband and the guy that's playing piano for my wedding.

Friday is my bachelorette dinner and sleepover with my BM's!

Saturday is my cousin's wedding (Emily, they will have the same anniversary as you! Who else is getting married that day? Kitkat or Rachel?)

Sunday is Bible Study, church then practicing 3 songs with my pastor's husband and signing with him at another church Sunday night. At some point in there, I have to squeeze in cleaning, laundry, grocery store and making a few WR calls (hotel, rehearsal dinner restaurant, church wedding coordinator).

Anyone else super busy this weekend? What are your WR and NWR plans? (of course, I know some of your plans are to get married- yay!)

Sounds like you have a great weekend ahead of you!

This week is super busy for us.  This is the week between renters, so we're replacing flooring, repainting rooms, cleaning, etc.  The sucky part is that I still have to work (5 more school days!) so I go to work all day then come home and work on the rental for several hours.

Plans for the weekend - Friday is our theatre banquet and I'm very excited for that.

Saturday our new renters move in so we're doing their walk through, and then we may go look at my friends wedding venue (he owns it) because they just added on a room.  Incidentally, my friend who just got engaged is going to look at it as a possible venue for her wedding!  I'm also hoping for lunch or dinner out with H on Sat since he'll be off and we'll finally be able to relax about the rental.

Sunday H has to work and I'm going to the cemetary with my parents and 13 year old cousin who will be here visiting from AZ for a week.  We're going to clean up all the family graves.  That night we're barbecuing at my parents' house.

Wow! You sound so busy, but its all great stuff! For me:

NWR: Possibly a bbq picnic my uncle is throwing if it doesn't rain (its forecasted). And... I take zumba a few times a week (my favorite kind of exercise) and this weekend Friday and Saturday, we are having a dance recital! I danced for many many years and I am so excited to get back on the stage!

WR: Making sure the rooms are blocked in both hotels (long story short, my parents wanted the family staying closer to their house than the reception hall). And hopefully we can try FI in some tuxedos and plan his wedding day attire :)
There's only 1 way 2 say those 3 words and that's what I'll do... I love you Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I'm an elder commissioner to our Tri-Presbytery meeting this weekend...pretty much a big business meeting of all the Presbyterian churches from across the state.  It's my first one since I became an elder, so I'm excited.  Even though 12 hours of meetings doesn't sound especially fun.  It's in the town where I go to school, though, which about an hour away from where I live, so I'll get to see a bunch of friends I haven't seen since early May while I'm up there.

Pray that we can make the best decisions for our churches at the meeting!

Sunday is Pentecost, and we're doing a hymn festival, so we're working on getting ready for that.  BF is working a race in another part of the state this weekend, so I won't get to see him until late Sunday night. Undecided

I'm watching my sister's puppy all weekend and trying to get a behavioral person for my dog to come out.  She's started showing agression and we want it to stop NOW!!  :(

Also I'm suppose to be packing to move to AR but I'm such a procrastinator...

And I should scrapbook and do wedding albums.  :P

I'm getting my bridal portrait on Saturday morning!  It's going to be HOOOOOOOT as blazes so we're trying to have them done before 11am on Saturday, but we'll see ... it all depends on how long the hair salon takes!

I am taking it EASY this weekend ... after the stress I've been through with work lately, I have GOT to relax and de-stress!!!! :-)
July 16, Our Wedding Day, is also International Juggling Day!
