ANNOYED!

SOOO...I fell in love with one of my vendors prior to booking him and now I am almost regretting it! I've always seen other brides comment about the lack of communication/delay in communication that develops after they book a vendor and unfortunately now it seems like it is happening to me...I'm so annoyed! I will continue to pray that things will turn around! I don't need added stress as I have enough stress now with personal things other than the wedding! What pisses me off the most is that I went through loops and hurdles so that I can adjust my budget to book this vendor and he knows it!

    Communication can be difficult. But we also have to remember that vendors have millions of brides, where as we just have that one vendor. Most vendors also have families- with this being Easter week, I haven't expected any sort of prompt returning of messages from my vendors.

    If it's really a problem, you should call the vendor (after Easter!) and mention your concern.

    I've been there.  We are less than 3 months out and we almost told one of our vendors to take a hike for lack of communication.  We were giving it about another week.  We personally know other people in the business that would step up to the plate if we needed.  Luckily our vendor stepped up and we aren't as worried now.  We have a meeting scheduled and after that we should be in the clear.  I hope it all works out for you.

    It's definitely frustrating but I agree with MoonlightSilver.  I also realized that vendors have their own timelines as far as when they start getting in touch again as your day nears.  My florist was great at communicating when I moved to the top of her to-do pile in terms of finalizing flowers, etc.  Our DJ and photographers reached out to us too when they were ready to finalize plans.

    Moonlight, believe me this has been an ongoing issue for the past month so I doubt Easter has anything to do with it :-/..but thanks for your suggestion.

    Thanks for the reasurrance carebear...It's good to see that with 98 days left someone who has the same time line can empathize with me. :-)...I will definietly wait until after Easter before I voice my concerns.
