Lacking Motivation

Ugh...I haven't checked off anything in what seems like forever. I still haven't been able to find catering in our budget so I haven't wanted to do other things until I can get that settled. I'm taking tomorrow off from wedding stuff - it's stressing me out. But Saturday we are going to order by MOH's dress.

    I think the catering is a major check and one you should get done right away!  Once you get it over with you'll feel so much better, I promise.

    Yes! Get all of the big things out of the way and that will feel like a huge relief.

    Also, everytime I feel like putting something off, I look at my ticker and keep moving because in a few days, mine will have 4 months flashing in front of my face, It is a constant reminder that time is flying by.

    omg, Penny!! You're almost down to the 4 month mark! I'd be freaking out!!

    Get your catering checked off your list right away, the PPs are right- you'll feel better once you do it! If it's not in your budget, maybe figure out something else to do, maybe appetizers, or depending on the time of your wedding- you could just have punch & desserts?

    yes, catering is the big one!! once your reception venue + caterer are checked off, everything else is easier to take care of, i promise. do you have any options for caterers? any meetings set up?

    I know this isn't what I should tell you.... but thank you for not having a caterer yet, as we don't either. It's the only big check left, but FI is out of town another month and I didn't want to do it without him. May not have a choice now though.....

    I would definitely getting moving on the caterers.  I know in my area they only do a certain amount of events a day and such and you don't want to get stuck with a very pricey option or someone without great food.  I think you'll feel alot better getting that one done.

    I've had a couple of meetings but FI is so so so super picky that we are having a hard time finding something he likes that is within our budget. I have another appointment with a cater this coming week.

    But I had a great day today - MOH ordered her dress and shoes, I got my shoes, finished buying everything for the DIY centerpieces, and got a wonderful surprise when I was checking out at the bridal store. I found out that my dress was there so I got to put it on and then take it home with me!
