July 2012 wedding by Mission Bay. Will accomodation be impossible??

Hi!,

My fiance and are going back and forth on a wedding date.  We initially set a date for 20-Jul-2012 on Mission Bay so we can hopefully make it past May Gray/June Gloom.   Has anyone experienced a wedding on the bay that time of year?  The majority of our guests will be from out of town and I'm worried accomodation will be difficult.  Any recommendatation/suggestions for arranging accomodation?

    There are tons of resorts on Mission Bay...they just might be more than your guests are wanting to spend.  The weather should be great for an outdoor wedding, but as far as lodging, maybe you can block out rooms at a hotel/resort at a discounted rate for your guests that are OOT.

    I went to a wedding a couple of years ago in PB around that time, the weather was great, but sunny. The couple provided chinese umbrellas for us during the outdoor ceremony. They are really pretty and they were used as the favors. May be a cool touch if you're interested.
