I didn't actually go out and do anything wedding related...I hung out with my Mom and Aunt last night at a charity event. I had work today so after it I sat around cathing up on my tv shows! haha.

I was far too busy with NWR stuff that I couldn't work on anything. I talked about it at the Cornhole party I was at...does that count? lol
Fever - that is adorable and I understand not being able to justify that. I am also addicted to Etsy. I'm pretty sure were going to get these (clicky) because I love them and they can be used at the reception and for home decor.

YAY! Were they excited? How many more do you have to ask, or are you only having two?
I worked on my cake topper, which is taking forever. It's not terribly labor intensive, but I have to wait for glue to dry and then clay to dry and then paint to dry....and I'm impatient! AND I found out last night that the second layer doesn't properly fit inside the first. It's not a fatal mistake, but it's going to take some maneuvering to figure out...
Fever, those cake toppers are SO cute! I agree that the price is hard to justify, though; that does seem incredibly outrageous for a cake topper.
FI and I started working with our seating arrangement - our venue is not a traditional wedding space, so we have to figure out how we're going to fit all the tables, chairs, buffet, bar, etc. I think we got it figured out!
DrPB...what kind of cake topper are you making?? Pics???
I finished designing my invitations. I need to make some adjustments, but for the most part they are done. I'm trying to work on only 1 thing at a time, otherwise I start feeling overwhelmed, so I'll keep working on them until they are exactly the way I want...then I'll move on to the next item on my to do list.
On Thursday we booked our ceremony/recpetion venue! So relieved to have that decided. On Saturday 2 bridesmaids and I decided when my bachelorette party trip to vegas should be (1 year from now, so we can all save up)
Weezie, it's hard to explain. I do plan on taking and posting pics, but not until it looks slightly more finished - right now it just looks like a crazy hot mess.
I did probably the most important thing I could have done this weekend as far as wedding planning...I worked on my relationship. Lately, my FI and I have been arguing. Long distance is getting super hard So I drove home and it was amazing
I am also scheduling a cake testing for when my mom and dad and FI come down to visit me!
Klapham- I am really sorry to hear about the issues you are having with your FI. I wish you the best of luck. If you need to vent or just a non-related person to listen please feel free to PM>
After a lull, I have started another planning spree. I contacted and priced the band FI and I have our eye on. They may be a little out of our price range, so I'm going to talk to FI about it tonight.
I e-mailed another ceremony musician company and was quoted less than the one I was previously looking at, so I'm going to have my mom listen to their samples and see what she thinks.
I contacted a videographer and am waiting to here back from him. The one I am in love with is above our budget, but this guy has a similar style so I'm hoping he is available and more affordable.
Today I contacted a cake baker about setting up a consultation and I ordered my shoes!
Whew, after not doing anything for about a month, I sure got cracking in the last couple days! Writing it all out makes it seem like much more than I actually did!

Posted by klapham[/QUOTE] I understand. Long distance sucks. Since last February, I have seen my fiance for a total of two maybe three months. Guess that's what I get for being an Army bride. He was in basic from February-early June then was deployed to Afghanistan in August. He was injured twice and the second time was enough for him to come home (and have seven surgeries along the way). He's still recovering but we're still not together :( Hoping he'll be home soon though! Possibly end of May!

We discussed changing our venue to my dad's place. I think we will be canceling our reservation at Heritage Hall. I get way more excited when I picture our wedding creek-side!! Way more possibilities and fun to be had.

omg i cant wait to start mine!
I want to start my registry too!!
However, I did find these on Etsy (I can't stop looking at Etsy!)
http://www.etsy.com/listing/65178564/custom-wedding-cake-topper-with-arch
THEY ARE SO CUTE! It's hard for me to justify spending $175.00 on a cake topper though when there are so many other things that need to be paid for
Planning Bio-Added FOR SALE page, will be adding more stuff to it soon!
