I need help with songs...

When the bridal party walks down the aisle...
When I walk down the aisle...
When the Bridal party enters the reception...Groom wants rap...lol
When the bride/groom dance with mom/dad...
When groom takes of my garter...Groom wants a freaky song...lol

Im so stuck, I've been on youtube all morning...any inspiration???

    So far all i have is the song that I am going to walk down the aisle too.  Jennifer Hudson-Giving myself.

    I am stumped on the others, so I will be watching this thread for ideas as well.

    Wedding Wire has a section on their website for song suggestions you can listen to for every part of your wedding.   I found some selections there that I had totally forgotten about.

    Parents/Wedding Party Entrance at Ceremony:  Ribbon in the Sky by Stevie Wonder (we only had 1 attendant each so the procession was really simple)
    Bride Entrance:  You Bring Me Joy by Anita Baker
    Recessional:  Every Time I Close My Eyes by Babyface

    Wedding Party Entrance  - I have no idea. I told the DJ to pick.
    Bride and Groom Entrance  - Don't remember. told him to pick that too.  If I would have picked, it would have been Alll I Do is Win by DJ Khaled #don'tjudgeme

    First Dance - This is My Promise by the Temptations
    Father/Daughter Dance - Have I Told You Lately by Rod Stewart
    Garter Removal - Big Pimpin' by Jay Z

    The only song I know right now is what I'm walking in with.

    My FI is not a fan of the bridal march, and after being in orchestra for 5 years, I want to have live music for the ceremony. I'm using "Spring" and "Harvest Time" from Little Women. Its from one of my favorite childhood memories that my late grandmother (passed away March of this year) introduced me to. It turns out Thomas Newman never wrote the score for this movie, so I paid the trio I hired to put together an arrangement.

    I'll probably use something tradtional for everything else.. I love classical music anyway, especially movie scores. Plus, this adds a very, very personal touch to the ceremony. I'm really excited about it :)

    Selecting songs is another item on my TO DO List.  However, so far I have selected At Last by Etta James for my entrance song.  I'm considering Love On Top (click on title to listen) by Beyonce for our recessional song.   FI wants either Atomic Dawg or More Bounce to the Ounce by Zapp & Roger, for the garter removal song.  Ahhhh I have so much to do!

    My FI and I had fun picking these out!  We probably took too long to do it though.  We kept listening to old songs over and over again but think we got it nailed:

    Bridal Party:  “Make me whole” by Amel Lamieux

    Bridal March:  “Angel” by Robin Thicke

    Recessional: “Nothing even matters” by Lauryn Hill and D’Angelo

    Grand Entrance song: “Make me Better” by Fabolous and Neyo

    Bride & Groom Dance song:  “Make You Feel My Love” by Adele

    Father Daughter Dance song:  “Daughters” by John Mayer 

    Mother Son Dance song: “A Song for Mama” by Boyz to men (struggled with this one!!!! Would love some suggestions.)

    Cake Cutting song:  “Is This Love” by Corrine Bailey Rae

    Garter:  “Hey Ya” Outkast

    Bouquet:  “Pretty Girl Rock” by Keri Hilson

    Father/Daughter Dance: (Wasn't really planning on doing one because one public dance is enough for me but if I change my mind, maybe would do John Mayer-Daughters)
