After wedding?

I'm having a brunch wedding. Reception over by 4pm. What do I do after? What are you girls doing after your weddings. Pretty sure we wont be leaving for the honeymoon that day (it'd be too many details to worry about). Help me?!? LOL

Our reception ended around 11 p.m. and we had a complimentary hotel suite. We had brought some drinks up to the room beforehand and once we were changed out of our wedding clothes we texted our friends to come up and hang out. We had maybe 15 people in the room with us just hanging out. We left for our honeymoon the next day (but we stayed fairly local, so you could always take an extra day to chill in a hotel or head home to decompress and pack).

You could host an after-party somewhere for your friends, maybe at your home or at a bar nearby. Or just take some time to be alone. Your call.

Our reception ends at 10. I would of loved to get a hotel but our wedding is about 10 min from our house. We are just going home to relax and decompress and having a big breakfast for the out of town guests the next morning.

Honestly, as much as I would love to extend the wedding day, I think the day is so long with so much excitement you may want that time to relax and process with your new sig other.

Our reception ends @ 1am.  We have a suite @ the Hilton accross the street but it's safe to say we are going to be exhausted.  Can you have a gathering back at your home, parents, or inlaws?

How many people are you having at your wedding? My aunt's wedding ended at 4 or 5 and all close family and friends went back to my other aunt's house where we had appetizer type food available. People hung out for a few hours and eventually left. I think most people generally leave after a wedding, except for family - so you could always do something similar if that's an option.

I am having a daytime wedding and it is over by 5.  I'm having everyone that is staying over at the hotel back to the hotel bar.  My good friend did the same thing recently and it was THE BEST.  We had a few drinks, and everyone was back to their rooms by like 11.  It was nice to actually enjoy the room you pay for, while still having a great time.  She just told the hotel her plans, didn't set up anything official in terms of like a bar package or anything, and it worked out great.

My reception will be ending at 5 and then there will be an after party at the hotel. It has a pool and an Irish pub. A friend of ours did the same thing a few years ago and it was so much fun!
