Questions about flowers and cakes!

Has anyone used Petals and Lucy for flowers? I met with her and loved her and her work. I just haven't heard anything about her here, and wanted to know your opinions!
Also, does anyone know of a good bakery? I want a small cake for the wedding to do the cutting and whatnot,  but I want the guests to have mini key lime pies/tarts. Every cake person I've talked to is pretty cake specific. Any ideas?

    An aquaitnance of mine does cakes and other yummy creations CassiesConfectionCreations@gmail.com.  As far as I know she's pretty inexpensive.  I'm planning on having her do my cake(s) when the time comes :)  GL!

    I don't know if Piece of Cake does that sort of thing, but I would check because they are amazing! Also, I would steer clear of Honeymoon Sweets. The lady was beyond rude when we went for a tasting and I was really unhappy with our experience there. I would consider using a baker for the cake and a different vendor for the tarts/pies. It would probably save you money and be easier than finding someone who will do both. Good luck!

    I'm using Trish from Lucy and Petals! I LOVE her.  She hasn't done my wedding yet...its in Oct but I am confident that she will do great things!  I love that she caught my vision and  even suggested other ideas I had not considered and kept everything under budget and I even added extra stuff that I hadn't plan to but was able to with her working so closely with money crunching!

    As for cakes I am using Miranda with Creative Cakes.  She was so sweet and again worked with my budget and vision.  I have even changed my mind several times about flavors and she has been a amazing!  She will come to you for taste testing which is free and she will bring you so many cupckaes of all flavors you request and a couple of extras she thought you could try!  They were super yummy...no wonder I couldn't make up my mind!  If you send her inspiration pictures ahead of time, she will bring a couple of sketches she designed and then she will modified from what you want when you meet!  Again, she is easy and outgoing to work with! And prices are very reasonable!

    I'm using Jay at Kick Ass Kakes. Reasonably priced, cakes are delicious; he makes vegan cakes as well.

    For the cake/tarts you may check out AJ's fine Foods.  They do some pretty different stuff and they have a rather large bakery.
