  I am pouring a little out for the Sahara right now.
  
  What happened to the monorail station?  Can you still get off there or do you have to get off at the Riv?

  the monorail station is still there...you just exit to the street behind the Sahara.
  
  While we were there my MOH went to pick up her daughter at Circus Circus from her parents. We thought it would be a good idea to take the monorail and walk to Circus Circus....it wasnt. Its a a pretty good hike just to get to the front of the Sahara from the stop.
  
  And...it looks so sad...seeing the Sahara like that. Its so dark and kinda reminds me of a haunted house.
