Boudoir Photo Session Questions

Hey all!
For those of you that have already done a boudoir photo session...or for those of you who are planning on doing one...or especially for those of you that have used Cadence Cornelius ...I have a few questions.
I am super nervous about this shoot and have no idea what to expect from it.

How many outfits did you bring? And what type of "outfits" did you bring?

so far I have these two...

Then I was thinking maybe a bra/panty set or a swimsuit. Then Cadence told me to bring a couple of outfits too. I don't want to keep bugging her about this (I have already sent her like 10 emails lol), so I figured I would ask your opinions first. Did you guys bring regular outfits to the shoot as well? She said "outfits that you know your fiance likes". I'm assuming she means actual outfits then.

I would appreciate any advice you can give me! Thanks!

I used Cadence and first of all she is awesome! She makes you feel great and the pics turned out so good!

No I dont think she meant like street clothes outfits - I think she meant sexy outfits. If that means jeans and say an unbuttoned shirt though I could see that being fun. Really it is whatever you feel comfortable in and your FI would like.

I did one of her marathon sessions and used three outfits - a lace bra and underwear with garters, just a white and black lace panties with no top (I covered myself though with my arms and hands) and a corset. My fav pics was the ones where I was just wearing the white and black lace panties.

But I would bring as much as you want and just show it to her and she will tell you what she things would work best.

And dont be nervous! He is going to love the pics and confidence is sexy so I just kept telling myself that while we were shooting and I think it worked :).

Are you doing a marathon with her or an individual shoot?

Just curious-- what makes people want to get these specifically for their weddings?

I am actually not doing for our wedding. We have been living in different states for 3 months already...and have about 6 more to go. So I am going to make a little "scrapbook"/photo album of them for him and mail them to him as a surprise :)

drdifabio - I am not sure which one I am doing....she hasn't called it either of those names? But I get hair and make-up done, and about an hour or so of shooting, and rights to all the pictures. Is that what you did? I really nervous/excited. I can't wait to see what she has in store for me :)

lboerner - yes that sounds like what i did!

graysquirrel - really the wedding just gave me a special occasion to do them but I could see doing them for a birthday or anniversary or Christmas or really any special occasion. I could see for some girls if they waited until the wedding to give themselves to their FI then boudoir pics kinda pair well with that but that was not the case for Joe and I so it could have been any special occasion for us.

They were really fun to do too so I recommend them to anyone who is thinking about getting them done! I actually think I might have had more fun shooting them than Joe will have looking at them - maybe :). It really is empowering to go in there and confidently show yourself off. I am a pretty curvy girl and in now way stick skinny and I had a blast with them.

I can see that it would be a nice gift for people who live far apart. I was just curious as to why people do them since I see so many posts about them. Not something I feel comfortable doing myself, but if you want to go for it, then good for you.
