Arlene's Bridal girls

Hi everyone,

I was on a while back but returned because we finally set a date and booked our venue (The Grove). I found my dress at Arlene's Bridal (originally at I do, I do but got the better deal here). I went home to sleep on it and I am returning later in the week to put a deposit. I just wanted to see others experience with their alterations dept. considering I'm very small and this would be a major issue for me.

THANKS

My friend got her dress @ Arlene's, she said she had a good experience but there is a flat alteration fee?  No matter what you need done whether it's everything or nothing, same fee.

I purchased my dress at Arlenes's but have not started alterations yet. I believe I will go for first fitting in May. I'm getting married in July.

There is a flat fee of alterations. I was quoted $250 I believe. As I got such a great deal on my dress I felt this price was fair.

Wow $225/$250 for alterations?  I found my dress at Arlene's too but haven't yet purchased it.  Whenever I go to bridal shop I never think to ask them what they charge for alterations.  Is this a good price compared to other shops?  It seems a little high to me.
