Hi ladies!! Ok so my FMIL and I have an interesting relationship.. Lol. We get along and are always nice to each other but TBH neither of us are big fans of each other. So her 3 daughters are all in the wedding. 1 bm, 2 jr bm, and the wedding is April 13th. All the dresses have been ordered and I have literally been trying for 2 months to get her to go in so her and the girls can try on their dresses so they can start alterations, and she still hasn't gone. I feel like we're running out of time and I don't know what to do at this point.

    Are you kind of close with her daughters? Could you offer to take them over there to at least get the fitting and get an idea of what is necessary? Maybe that would encourage her to do it herself. Or maybe she would just say Yes - but then I would want to make sure you wouldn't be financially responsible for any of the alterations!

    Soo update, I asked the shop owner to call her personally to schedule the appointments. FMIL advised she was coming today to pick up the dresses and going to her own seamstress. So I'm happy about this... I think. At least she has the dresses

    That sounds good! At least the ball's in her court now. Hopefully any alterations that need to be done will be taken care of soon :)
