My fiance and I both come from very large families and we are having an informal, outdoor wedding/reception. We have 5 kids between us ranging in age between 8-24 who will be our wedding party. We aren't having a flower girl, ring bearer, guest book attendant or speeches/toasts. One of the reasons that we are only having our kids stand with us and no one else is that I have we have 7 siblings and 12 options for ring bearers and flower girls and we don't want to "pick favorites" so we're keeping it simple.
My sister, who is one of my best friends, has been joking with me about being in the wedding party as anything from maid of honor to flower girl to doing a play by play as I walk down the aisle. I really do think she's joking, not having hurt feelings and we have come up with some funny "jobs" for her.
Is there something anyone can think of that could include her without actually standing with us? It can be humorous but we don't need a comedy sketch, just something fun (or serious) that I could surprise her with?
