Hey ladies this is a venue my bestfriend is looking at for her wedding and reception. Anyone know anything about this place. Its in Spring, Tx by the way.

    uhhh, it's pretty much bankrupt or close to it. they can't even keep up their golf course--it's in HORRIBLE shape. it's really not pretty. I wouldn't get married there. it's very odd to me (and FI, who lives in the area) because it's in a REALLY nice area of Spring.

    I would agree, I grew up and my family used to be members there about a decade ago. It has really gone down-hill. It's a shame because I have been to quite a few events (mother day brunches, wedding receptions) there when I was younger and it was pretty nice; Good food and service with plenty of room for dancing.

    They recently renovated it and it looks awesome!  I am also considering having my wedding there.  Go check out the new pics on their website.  After looking at over 7 different upscale venues around the Houston area, I still believe that Raveneaux is the best!
