Board patron?

Anyone else interested in this? I thought perhaps we could give suggestions for a patron saint for this board, vote on one, and then have a sticky with info/prayers/etc.

Some ideas:

The Holy Family
Our Lady of Loreto (title refers to the house where Mary was born and where the Annunciation occurred, now moved to Loreto, Italy)
St. Joseph
Sts. Joachim & Anne (Mary's parents)
St. Gianna Molla (a thoroughly 'modern' woman, wife/mother/physician who lived a life of heroic virtue)

Please add your suggestions!!

    Some additional married female Saints:

    St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
    St. Monica
    St. Elizabeth of Hungary
    St. Elizabeth of Portugal
    St. Margaret of Scotland
    St. Bridget of Sweden

They all seem like pretty awesome ladies to me!

I'm also leaning towards an empowered woman since 99% of TK posters are women :).

That is a great idea! My suggestion would be Mary because we are all striving to be the kind  of woman/wife/mother she was

I second Mary the Mother of God and St. Gianna Beretta Molla (I'm biased; she's my confirmation patroness).
If board picks a married patron saint, just be sure that the marriage was a happy one!

Ditto that the board should pick a female saint, ideally a happily married one!
I like the idea of St. Gianna Beretta Molla too.  I might be biased.  ;)

St. Cecilia. She got to have a wedding, with flowers, angels, and music, and never had to have sex.
