Okay so it goes. What vendors is everyone using that they recommend and are also affordable? I am currently inquiring about the following vendors: florists, djs, photographers and videographers.

Florist- Flowers by Addalia Toms River

My bouquet was 200$ (all white mini calla lili hand wrapped)

MOH -110$ (white calla, green orchids and some other "filler" flowers that looked gorgeous but I don't know their names)

Corsages- 15$ each (single cymbidium orchid)

Groom Boutonniere- 20$ (dbl. white mini calla lili)

BM Bout- 15$ (single mini calla)

All other Bout- 10$ (either dbl. mini cymbidium or single cymbidium)

Centerpieces- 55$ (tall vase w submerged green cymbidium orchid with white river rocks and some grasses floating candle, white calla lilies, or a short rectangle that reflected MOH flowers)

Bar pieces- 20$ (short square w green cymbidium)

Escort card table- 100$ for a tall huge mix of all the flowers used throughout the day

DJ-

We paid 1,050$ for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We needed two music set ups because of the multiple locations and a hand held mic. We did not have any lighting, photo slide shows or give aways. We also did not do bouquet or garter.

Photographer-

We were originally paying almost 5,000$ w J. Paul Studios for everything we wanted. We walked away from that loosing out 1,750$ deposit. We booked w. Erin McGowan who owns Fifth Avenue Photography. We paid 2,200$ for everything we wanted. I do not have the list in front of me now but if you would like to know what was included in the package exactly PM me. She drove 1.5 hrs to my parents house where I got ready, w a second shooter, picked up my/MOH/FOB/MOB flowers and brought them w her, drove 1 hr to our venue, her and her assistant shot ceremony, cocktail and all night until the lights went on. We are getting our album, 4 brag books (which are ready about 2 weeks from wedding date), 2 parent albums, and 150 thank you cards. I can not remember what else right now.

Videographer-

Sry....can't help you on this one...We did not have one!

Sorry I wasn't specific enough with my location or price points. I'm located in Essex County bordering Montclair and Nutley.

Flowers - almost postiive we are going with AW Florist...they seemed to be most reasonable at this point. I just wanted to see if there were any other florists who would be more reasonable with just as good of quality. Love the owner at AW and he seems to have quality work.

Transportation - we went with Santos Limo b/c it seemed to be most reasonable. We also have a couple of friends who've used them.

DJ - We would like to stay under $1500. Just need a dj and uplighting throughout the room. No other fancy stuff.

Photographer/Videographer - budget is $4000 combined so however that works out as long as they are good and creative with reasonable pricing.
