Today I can only seem to think of "light" questions...

1. What is one article of clothing you own that gets the most wear?
2. What is one beauty product you love, and would recommend to others?
3. How much time do you spend on your hair on the average day?
4. How much time do you spend on makeup?
5. What kind of person are you when it comes to accessories? (Do you pick several accessories based on your outfit, do you wear the same jewelry/belt/shoes/etc almost every day, etc?)

1. What is one article of clothing you own that gets the most wear?
Lately it's my darker-rinse NY&Co skinny jeans. They fit me well, are comfy, and look good with a lot of different tops, shoes, etc.
2. What is one beauty product you love, and would recommend to others?
I love Cat Walk Curl Rock cream. If you have curly hair, you should try it! It doesn't make your hair crunchy and dry like some products, and doesn't give you the wet look either. Just soft, natural curls. I also love Mary Kay Lash Love mascara. Don't wear it every day, but if I'm getting dressed up, I think this mascara is the best. I always get compliments when I wear it.
3. How much time do you spend on your hair on the average day?
Ummm...2-5 minutes? I just comb and part it, and then add Curls Rock, and scrunch. On weekends I often straighten my hair, which requires about 20-25 minutes of blow drying, and then another 20 minutes of the flat iron. And then another 5 or so minutes of trying to tame al lthe frizzies and flyaways!
4. How much time do you spend on makeup?
Typically just maybe 1-2 minutes. I only wear powder, and maybe blush, most days. I'll spend longer for holidays, a night out, a nice event, etc., but I'm really minimalist when it comes to makeup.
5. What kind of person are you when it comes to accessories? (Do you pick several accessories based on your outfit, do you wear the same jewelry/belt/shoes/etc almost every day, etc?)
I pretty much just wear my engagement ring (and will wear my wedding band once it's fixed). No earrings or bracelets or necklaces. I don't switch purses for outfits. I own like, one belt. I wish I was good at accessorizing, but I just don't have many accessories, and never seem to be able to pick them out. I also just usually think they're overpriced and would rather buy clothes. But my new goal is to try to accessorize a little more, since I really do think it can make you look really nice and just more put together.

1. What is one article of clothing you own that gets the most wear?

My jeans. Especially now when my work pants feel too tight. Also cardigans. I loooove cardigans.
2. What is one beauty product you love, and would recommend to others?

Currently Eucerin Calming Cream and Aveeno Calming face lotion.
3. How much time do you spend on your hair on the average day?

However long it takes to blow-dry and straighten. Usually thirty minutes if I do it all in one sitting. I'm more inclined to shower at night and let it air dry, then straighten in the morning or just pull it back.
4. How much time do you spend on makeup?

Probably 15-20 minutes. I've never been "in to" makeup, so I don't wear a lot. I try to wear enough that I won't be mistaken for a student at work.
5. What kind of person are you when it comes to accessories? (Do you pick several accessories based on your outfit, do you wear the same jewelry/belt/shoes/etc almost every day, etc?)

I'm terrible at accessorizing. I almost never buy jewelry for myself and rarely wear it. DH got me a beautiful set of Tahitian peal earrings and necklace one year, so I probably wear that the most. My MIL gives me jewelry almost every year for Christmas, and I try to make an effort to wear it. I'm just not good at picking something out each day. And yeah, I think belts look dumb on me.

I'm a SAHM, but definitely get dressed and ready to some extent every day. It's waaay better for my self-esteem. I'm just not a lounge-wear all day kind of girl.

1. What is one article of clothing you own that gets the most wear? Besides my jeans, I have a grey cardigan/flowy sweater thing that seems to be in the wash every time I do laundry.

2. What is one beauty product you love, and would recommend to others? It's not a specific product, but I think everyone should have a lipgloss that they love and can put on easily. For me, it makes me feel pulled-together and feminine without the harshness of lipstick, even when I'm running out the door in spit-up on jeans and a ponytail.

3. How much time do you spend on your hair on the average day? This varies wildly based on what I'm doing and whether it is a hair-washing day (I only wash it every other day). Anywhere from 2-30 minutes depending on all those factors.

4. How much time do you spend on makeup? I'd say 5ish minutes. I wear mineral powder, blush, eyeliner and mascara daily. I add a smidge of eyeshadow if I'm going somewhere like lunch or to a friend's house. I always put on lipgloss before I leave the house (see above).

5. What kind of person are you when it comes to accessories? (Do you pick several accessories based on your outfit, do you wear the same jewelry/belt/shoes/etc almost every day, etc?) Most days, I'm pretty boring. I wear either a cross or my miraculous medal most every day unless there is a specific reason not to, -- usually when I'm dressing up. I wear one of several pairs (studs) of earrings pretty much every day. I am really into belts right now, but they are hard with BFing, so I go back and forth with actually wearing them. This time of year, I have two pairs of boots that are pretty much in constant rotation. I'm the say way in the middle of summer (but with sandals). For the bulk of the year, when we have mild weather, I have tooooons of flats, and I love to find just the right pair for what I'm wearing. I'm totally a ballet flats and cardigans girl.

1. What is one article of clothing you own that gets the most wear?
For workdays, probably my pair of black dress pants from Express. Outside of work, my American Eagle skinny kick jeans

2. What is one beauty product you love, and would recommend to others?
I really like the Covergirl Shadowblast eye shadow - cream eyeshadow in a tube with a sponge applicator. It's one of the only ones I've found that doesn't crease

3. How much time do you spend on your hair on the average day?
Probably about 10 minutes. I always shower at night, so I at least skip the time blowdrying. If I'm straightening/curling it it will take a bit longer, but most days I throw it up in some sort of bun/updo that I saw on Pinterest

4. How much time do you spend on makeup?
Again, probably about 10 minutes. I don't go overboard, but always a mineral powder foundation, concealer as needed, eyeliner and mascara for during the day. For nighttime or going out, I pile on the eye makeup a bit more.

5. What kind of person are you when it comes to accessories? (Do you pick several accessories based on your outfit, do you wear the same jewelry/belt/shoes/etc almost every day, etc?)
I try to accessorize every day, but usually end up wearing the same things. I have my "go-to" silver necklace that goes with almost everything. I like the look of belts, and try to incorporate those in my outfits but not super-frequently. I do tend to wear the same shoes a lot, mostly heels. Can't go wrong with a basic black or nude pump!

My Jacket / Sweaters

2. What is one beauty product you love, and would recommend to others?
Snail Slime Cream - I know it sounds gross but my skin is so soft after using this daily.

10 Min.

4. How much time do you spend on makeup?
15 Min. - Foundation, Powder, Blush, Eyeliner, Mascarar, Lip Liner, Gloss

Earrings, shoes.
Purses, i love but am too lazy to change every few days. I change them like every few months.

1. What is one article of clothing you own that gets the most wear? If I don't include work clothes (they don't call it a uniform so they don't have to provide it, but it's required and pointless since I work in an office), I'd say my VS pajamas (during the week) or my favorite jeans.
2. What is one beauty product you love, and would recommend to others? I love my Garnier moisturizers (day and night).
3. How much time do you spend on your hair on the average day? Honestly, maybe 2 minutes. (If you don't include blowdrying it, and sometimes I don't even do that).
4. How much time do you spend on makeup? Most days I don't bother; I sit in an office by myself most days during the week. But, when I do, less than 5 minutes.
5. What kind of person are you when it comes to accessories? (Do you pick several accessories based on your outfit, do you wear the same jewelry/belt/shoes/etc almost every day, etc?) I don't accessorize during the week, because it's against our "dress code". I wear my engagement ring daily and that's it. When I'm off work or going out, I'll throw on a bracelt (I make most of them myself) or a necklace and some earrings. My favorite accessory is shoes... I have at least 50+ pairs.

1. What is one article of clothing you own that gets the most wear?
- While they were still wearable, my nude patent pumps. They took me through my internship in college, hiking up the hills and back down the hill to class, on nights out, through my interviews, dates with my bf and my first few months of work. Now they lost the tap on the heel, so I'm standing on a nail head, and the sides are beginning to rip from being so well worn.

2. What is one beauty product you love, and would recommend to others?
- Hmmm. I have a lot. I would have to reccomend any of the stains by Benefit. I have the original Benetint and Posietint. They're super-awesome multi-taskers and they last forever, so if yo can get them in a "giftset" as minis, you can try them out yourself without the guilt.

3. How much time do you spend on your hair on the average day?
- Anywhere from 5-30 minutes. It all depends on how I want to do it, if it's wet, if I'm going out, if it's dirty/oily, and if I have time. I'm the daughter of a hairdresser, so I'm always styling it in different ways.

4. How much time do you spend on makeup?
- 5-30 again. On an average work day, in the 10 minute range normally if I feel like doing eyeshadow.

5. What kind of person are you when it comes to accessories? (Do you pick several accessories based on your outfit, do you wear the same jewelry/belt/shoes/etc almost every day, etc?)
- I have a necklace, two rings (promise ring from boyfriend and sweet 16 ring from mom) and a new pair of diamond studs from my boyfriend. I wear them every day (especially the rings!) and rarely take anything off. I'll change my front-hole earrings occasionally (I have 2 holes/ear) but that's about it. I have a crap-ton of scarves, so I change them up a lot. I have the same belt, but that's because I only have one and my shoes are becoming more limited as they die off and I don't replace them (my boots and black pumps are on their death beds).

This was a fun topic - really got me thinking about what I should use my mall gift card on. I did vow this year that I'm going to kick up my work wardrobe a notch, but I want to make sure I buy things that I can wear anytime, and not JUST to work

2. What is one beauty product you love, and would recommend to others?
Shea butter! I discovered raw shea butter over the summer and it is the best moisturizer I have ever had.

3. How much time do you spend on your hair on the average day?
Like 2 minutes. I wash it in the morning, then brush it a few times through out the day.

4. How much time do you spend on makeup?
None. I don't wear makeup on a daily basis. When I do put make up on, it takes me probably 5-10 minutes (just foundation and mascara). I'm like Professor, I only wear make up when I need to look my age and not like a high school student.

5. What kind of person are you when it comes to accessories? (Do you pick several accessories based on your outfit, do you wear the same jewelry/belt/shoes/etc almost every day, etc?)
I wear my E-ring, the promise ring FI made me (ugh, that sounds so high school), and the earings me made me for one of my birthdays every day. Then I have 3 necklaces I choose between based on the shirt I'm wearing. I wear the same shoes almost every day.

No! I haven't looked a TON though. There were some that I liked at American Eagle, but they were black jeans and looked a little faded, which isn't quite what I wanted. Another pair at Macy's fit well, but the material was really thin so they seemed a lot more like leggings and not really pants. I plan to go out to the mall this weekend, and have high hopes! There's a few pairs at Express and GAP that I've seen online that seem promising....

1. What is one article of clothing you own that gets the most wear?

I'm really digging a black lace-front sweater I got at Banana Republic. I don't think they still make the exact one I have, but it's like this one (here) only it's all-black and it zips. I wore it today and I wear it all the time with dresses and over tops to work. I also love wearing it with jeans and a tank top on the weekends. My mom bought the same one with me

2. What is one beauty product you love, and would recommend to others?

I'm really into Sephora at the moment and feel like I'm discovering a world of new, fantastic things (was never into make up before). But I think my favorite beauty product is really just vaseline and Carmex. I can't tell you how many friends have asked to borrow my lip gloss/lipstick and all I've had is a little bit of basic balm. Nothing better than soft lips.

Oh also I still love those Clean & Clear blue oil control sheets. I use them every single day after lunch because I always get a shiny forehead.

3. How much time do you spend on your hair on the average day?

Almost zero time. It's maybe a problem. I shower at night, have a hair wrap towel, comb before I go to bed. In the AM I usually pull into a "half up" ponytail and walk out the door - less than two minutes unless I forgot to comb and have cowlicks. (But, NYC is way less humid right now than anywhere I've ever lived before, so my hair is like...what is this?)

4. How much time do you spend on makeup?

I've started wearing more make up than ever now, but still I'd say less than 10 mins. I typically just use a tinted moisturizer, now have switched to BB Cream because that's apparently the big thing. Then I'll blend a little foundation if I need coverage on any breakout areas, blush, basic eyeshadow and mascara, and all-over Revlon Photofinish powder. I also got some neat make-up "setting spray" for Christmas that I *really* like to keep my make up in place all day at work.

5. What kind of person are you when it comes to accessories? (Do you pick several accessories based on your outfit, do you wear the same jewelry/belt/shoes/etc almost every day, etc?)

I almost never wear jewelry or belts or anything fashionable I guess! I love shoes but I always end up wearing the same pair I have boots to walk to work in and then change into simple black flats at the office.

For Christmas, FI's sisters gave me a bracelet and said that their mom always always always wanted to get me bracelets as gifts, and it made me realize that I do have 4-5 bracelets from her. They said they hope to keep up the tradition so this week I've made an effort to wear some of the bracelets she got me, but I don't think the effort will be able to continue once work gets busy again- it's just too much thought for me in the mornings. I try to be up, fed, and out the door within an hour (so I can maximize sleeping time).

1. What is one article of clothing you own that gets the most wear? Jeans, mostly my dark rinse NY&Co skinny jeans, too!
2. What is one beauty product you love, and would recommend to others? I just started using DDF Wrinkle Resistant Pore Minimizer Moisturizer (that's close to what it's called). I did start noticing that my pores were getting smaller after a few uses and it feels sheer. I sometimes use other moisturizer on top of it, though.
3. How much time do you spend on your hair on the average day? After washing it, I spend almost an hour on it.
4. How much time do you spend on makeup? No idea. I subscribe to Birchbox (let me know if you want an invite to sign up) and get samples every month of make up and other beauty supplies, but I otherwise stick to eye liner and mascara.
5. What kind of person are you when it comes to accessories? (Do you pick several accessories based on your outfit, do you wear the same jewelry/belt/shoes/etc almost every day, etc?) I generally wear the same belt if I'm wearing jeans, but I'll switch it up for other outfits. I have silver and gold hoops that are my go-to for earrings depending on what colors I'm wearing that day. Then I'll throw on a coordinating necklace. This time of year, I wear a lot of scarves instead of necklaces.

I always have so much admiration for people who get up early enough to do things in the morning. Like, spending more than 10 minutes on hair, taking time to accesorize, exercise, etc.

I am loving some of the recommendations from you ladies! That lace front cardi is AWESOME! I have one from Target, but it's black on black, and it's a smaller, less obvious lace, so the effect is different.
