Rehearsal Dinner Ideas

So our rehearsal dinner location fell through. I am looking for something around downtown or Oakland County to accomodate no more than 15 people. A private room is not necessary and no primarily seafood places as we are more steak lovers

Please give me suggestions! Thanks!

Did you have a price in mind? That is such a wide range of area that there are so many people.

I had mine downtown in Greektown at Red Smoke BBQ. We had 50 people though and did a family style meal. I would assume at 15 people you would want more of a limited menu option.

You don't mention a price point, but there are some good restaurants with steaks on the menu:

Flemings Steak House in Bham
Andiamo's has good steaks, not just Italian
220 Merrill in Bham
Big Rock Chop House in Bham, a great place: http://www.bigrockchophouse.com/
London Chop House in downtown Detroit just reopened, but it's pricey.
The Whitney is lovely and has great steaks

I'm sure there is an Outback somewhere, better prices as the above are more pricey

We are considering Toasted Oak in Novi. The manager is awesome and they have a private room, if you want it, that connects to a private patio area. It's very nice, but a bit pricey. Food and service are both amazing, though.

Thanks for the suggestions! Pricing for this isn't a huge issue. Just looking for a nice relaxed atmosphere. Our two families will be meeting for the first time at this dinner. Yikes!
