Venue?

Hi, this is my first time posting. I'm just starting planning my wedding and I am totally confused on what venue to chose. I narrowed  it to 3 places.

1. The Gallery.- I really like this place but I guess i will need a wedding planner because they don't include anything but the venue. I also have a hard time figuring out a total cost of the reception because of the same reason)

2. Le jardin garden.- This is a small place close to where  I live (spring area), I also like that it is all inclusive but the florist and photographer. It is also not expensive at all which is the part that i like the most.

3. Agave Road.- I am absolutely in love with his place. It is gorgeous (outdoors and indoors). They also have all inclusive packages, same apply, you need to bring the florist and the photographer. the downside is that is very far away form where I live. Like 45 min drive.

Please I need some advise, opinions, experiences or suggestions.

Thanks!

Hi and congrats.  I have never been to any of these venues for a wedding but they are all very pretty.

    1.  Reach out to FutureMrsLewis, she had her wedding here.  I can't remember if any other person who comes here still has had their wedding there.  I did a tour of the place, while it was pretty it would not fit my guest list.
    2.  No comment as I have never been there.
    3.  Never been here either, but I would said that the 45 minute drive should not be a downside for you.  Guests will drive to a wedding that is 45 mintues away.  And its only a one day thing, its not like you have to drive there every day.

Le Jardin is beautiful, I didn't know about it until after we booked our venue.

I would choose Le Jardin out of those 3

ya, im sure futuremrslewis will chime in on the gallery.

Le Jardin was ok. I liked it, but i didnt like how it was right off a really busy street and we could hear the cars.

Agave Road was at the top of my list but out of my budget. the 45 minutes away from you shouldnt be a factor at all.

    1) I toured the Gallery but I didn't like the fact that it was in a really weird part of town. I thought it was really expensive for just a venue. Especially considering it's in a seedy part of town. Also, I got a look at the parking lot and it was in pretty bad shape. I know that sounds weird but I didn't want that to be the first impression that my guests got.

    2) Le jardin garden - i don't have any personal experience with this venue.

    3) I'm getting married at Agave Road this November and I couldn't be happier with the experience, so far. I LOVE my coordinator, Lindsey, and the venue is awesome. I also like the fact that their priced include tax and tip. I really think the location is pretty convenient. It's right off I-10 so at least everyone won’t be driving down unfamiliar roads.

I am so happy with Agave Road. It's pretty much a dream come true for me.

Hope any of this helps!  ~Kim

Thank you so much for all your help. S

I guess 4o min drive is not that long if it is just for a day.

To Kbates85: Since I'm just in the beginign of my wedding planning, I am kind confuse. I really don't know too much about prices, I thought the Gallery was good deal because you get to bring everything (alcohol, food, etc).

Do you think Agave Road is a better deal with the all inclusive package?
