easy curls for an up do

I will be wearing my hair up in a messy bun with messy curls. I have straight hair and am trying to figure out a fast way to curl my hair by myself since my ceremony is at 11am and wont have much time to get ready. Any ideas would be great! Thanks!!

Easiest curl that looks amazing is taking any curling iron and taking different size sections of hair and wrapping it around the barrel hold it for about 30-45 seconds and let go. It usually holds very well and if you alternate between med and small sections of hair it looks amazing!!! Lightly spray with a finishing spray to hold, I have done this so many times and people usually get 2-3 days worth of curls, by the last day the curls are very lose but still there :-)hope this helps
oh btw don't wash your hair for 24 prior to doing your updo and it will hold much better, you can always use a thermal protectant spray which should help hold the curls without making them "crunchy"
