flower girl gift

I don't know what to get my flower girl as a gift.  Any ideas?  She's 4.

A Bridal Barbie would be cute! That's one of the things we are getting our 3 year old flower girl!

  • Sh*t! I completely forgot about this! Crap... I guess I need ideas too, mine is 8.

What about like a doll, or toys or something? I have no idea what kids that age play with. I'm probably gonna have to get ideas from the mom.

  • The Barbie idea is cute!!!

My FGs are 6 and 10...6 yr old is easy, just getting her some toys and things to occupy her while we get ready, and since she is traveling via car from CT to IN, she could play with them on the way home. The 10 yr old is a lot harder because I have no idea what she's into. I've just been picking up a few things here and there. They are both getting totes with their names on them. I also got them "pearl" necklaces.

  • My flower girls are 8 and 10, so I get them really cute beach towels with their names on them, and swim goggles. They're going to camp right after the wedding so I thought that would be fun.

  • Mine is 15 months old so probably completely different ideas. But we got her a pink bouncy ball (big enough so she cannot put it in her mouth, of course), pink heart blanket, cute shirt, jewlery case (from TK, but I'm pissed- it's starting to look dull, not very silver anymore, WTF!), and a bath toy that sprays water (to make up for the crappy jewlery case).

Maybe ideas from my RB- he's 6. We got him water toys (like super soaker balls, frisbee), bubbles, a small pot with seeds in it so he can grow flowers (he's into science right now), and a HUGE spiderman coloring book. He's obsessed with spiderman :)

We enjoy giving small gifts in a bag- so we did that for everybody in the WP.

  • I am taking my flower girls to Build a bear the wednesday before the wedding.
the girls are 6 and 8, so I thought doing something fun with them would be the best way to go. :)

  • Mine is 3. I got her a bag filled with toys and coloring books/crayons. I also got her a music box with a dancing ballerina. She is really into ballerinas plus its sliver and nice and she can keep it forever.

  • My daughters/FG are 5 & 8.  They are both getting this necklace (but all pink) from Etsy, one of those cute kids tutu's, earrings for the 8 year old (still need to find those) and a bracelet for the 5 year old (also still need to buy).  I think I am also going to get them both clothes for their American Girl dolls.  The build a bear idea is so cute but we just went last month.  They have really cute Bride and Groom outfits too. :)

  • Ours is 2...we're just getting her the Madagascar movie & probably a dress up set since she's getting into that kind of stuff...I think that would be a good idea for her too?  Dress up set?
  • LM - I love the dress up idea! I used to play dress up for hours and hours. So fun!

Our FGs are 8. I got them tote bags with their names on them, bracelets, and these mirrors with their names on them. I also made them hangers with their names like I made for my BMs. I am planning on also putting coloring books and markers or colored pencils in the totes, and maybe some candy, to fill them up a little more.

  • I got those reusable cups with the straws in different patterns. I plan to make kits for a butterfly garden -pail, gloves, seeds, watering cans for flowers that attract butterflies. I got the inspiration from Pottery Barn. Today I saw S'mores kits made by Hershey at a wholesale club. They were pricey so I think I will put together my own version.
  • I got my flower girls all the "I can be a Bride" set from Target.  It comes with the bride and groom as well as a bridesmaid and a flower girl - so I thought they would have fun having a flower girl like they were.  Here's the link:  http://www.target.com/p/barbie-i-can-be-bride-set/-/A-12224590
