Hey ladies. I am thinking about buying my FIs band without him. All he wants is a gold plain band. I was thinking of getting an 6mm comfort fit. Since we live in different states, I would need him to get sized. What you think? Did any other ladies do this?

    I let my FI pick out his own band, but mainly because he's giving me his grandmother's bridal set, so my band was already picked out. I think it's fine since you live in different states.

    FI & I are in different states most of the year so when I picked his band I sent him like 5 pictures to get a sense of the style he was going for then once I understood what he wanted I sent him 3 more options of that style. Once he chose I had him go get fitted for a ring & ordered.

    I don't see a problem with it but do you think you could get him to go into a jewelry store wherever he is at and pick a couple out? The only reason i'm suggesting this is because when fiance and I were looking we started off online, he found one he liked, and when we got to jewelry store he picked something out completely different. he said the one he liked "felt funny" on.
