Orlando Museum Of Art - hotel recommendation for guests

Hi, I was wondering if anyone is getting married at OMA and has any hotel recommendations in the area. I wasn't too impressed with the Great Western Mt. Vernon off Orlando ave. when I went by there today. please help!

    We did our block at the Crowne Plaza downtown and had a great experience! Good luck!

    we did two room blocks for my wedding- the more economical option was embassy suites downtown. the pricier option was grand bohemian (also downtown). our guests were treated equally as well at both hotels and they passed out our welcome bags at no charge and with no problems.if you're looking for another option near the OMA, the park plaza hotel is a small, quaint option (more of a boutique hotel feel) on park ave in winter park. i personally have never stayed there but my mom has and she loves it.

    We went with DoubleTree on Ivanhoe.  They agreed to comp a night for our suite if our guests booked 10 rooms with a block there :)  and they gave us a great rate for our guests- $89 a night.
