Freelance makeup artist??

Hello,

My make up artist that I booked for my engagement session this Sunday just cancelled due to a family emergency.  Does anyone know of any make up artists in DC or even PG County that may be available this Sunday (5/22) around 7am (Yes, I know that this is VERY early and on a Sunday)?

Also, have any of you booked a freelance artist by just going to a make up counter in the mall?  I'm considering this as well if I can't find anyone.

    on such short notice the that will be tough. For my friends wedding she found her makeup artist at a mall makeup counter and it worked out great for her. Good Luck.

    I don't know if she'd be available on such short notice, but I cannot rave enough about Liz. She was fantastic!

    We used Nena's Special Occasions Hair and Make-Up for both hair and make-up for our wedding.  She has very reasonable rates, but does excellent work.  (You can see examples on her Facebook page.)  I have no idea whether she is available this Sunday, but it would be worth giving her a call.

    For my son's wedding, I got a great make-up job by going to Saks in Friendship Heights.  They didn't charge for the make-up, but I bought some products from them.  They would definitely not be open that early on a Sunday.  However, if you went there ahead of time, you might find one of their people willing to help you on a freelance basis.
