Intro!!!

Hey ladies! I've been lurking on this board and was a little hesitant to introduce myself, mostly because while my faith is so important to me, especially when incorporated into my wedding, FI and I are "living in sin" as my mom loves to tell me, and I have felt judged by a lot of Christian circles for this so I was nervous to say anything on this board.
HOWEVER! What prompted my introduction was that, from what I've been reading and observing on this borad,  you ladies are just wonderful! I don't see judgment at all on this board, and it's lovely how much you all support each other and offer legitimate, real, genuine advice (not that ettiquette centered nonsense that you find on a lot of the other boards that isn't actually helpful or advice at all). Suffice it to say, you ladies are awesome and have made me want to be a part of this board :) 

Edit: I suppose I should say a few things about FI and myself! We were best of friends right when we met, but I was coming out of a horrible relationship and was super guarded when he wanted to be with me. But! He was very persistent, and pursued me and really revived my faith in love and relationships and showed me what love is when it's a verb (he's a real actions speak louder than words guy), not just a feeling :) We're getting married on 10.11.12 in Phoenix, AZ and are so excited about it.

    Welcome!! I'm so glad you decided to post! The girls are this board are fantastic; one of the reasons I love the Knot is because of the Christian Knotties!

    Can't wait to read all your plans and chat!

    Hi and welcome to the board! This board is really great and we're glad you're here. When I was planning my wedding, this was the only board I came to after awhile because of how genuine and caring these girls are. Thanks for the intro!

    Welcome to the board. I'm a newbie myself.. just posted an intro like 2 weeks ago. I felt the same way you did.. I worried because we are living in sin but we are very dedicated to our faith and have a strong relationship with God. But from what I've seen on this board, the ladies are wonderful and genuine. :) Can't wait to hear more about your wedding plans!

    Welcome to the board! Best group of Christian women around :) I love that your wedding date is 10/11/12 that's awesome. Have you started making plans? What are your colors/ them etc?

    i am excited to get to know you more. Since i have been on TK i have pretty much only posted here! hehe. i love these ladies.. and they will soon feel like friends. 

    i cant wait to hear more about your wedding! it will go by fast!!!! trust me... my wedding is Saturday and i feel like i JUST got engaged! hehe.

We booked our venue a couple of weeks ago, it's a beautiful estate with a huge outdoor patio and twinkle lights and chandeliers. The patio has a built-in dance floor, it's lovely. I'm so excited about it.</div><div>Our colors are deep red and dark purple (I got FI to sign on to purple by calling it eggplant :P) and we don't really have a theme, just a blend of formality and comfort that will make everyone happy! </div>
