Are Fressias too fragrant to use on the tiered wedding cake

    I wouldn't worry about scent.  Just make sure that they are organic so you don't have any kind of pesticide on the cake.

    just gently wash the flowers and let them dry......it will wash anything that are on them off.

    I've seen some freesias that had almost no scent (they were cut stems from a florist). But others that were in a mixed planter (live plants), were very fragrant, and could be smelled from several feet away.  

    You might ask your florist.  If they have only a light fragrance, it should be fine in a large open room.  If they are typically very fragrant, it might clash with the smell of foods and cake..
