Table Linens HELP!!

I can't decide on table linens. I have considered plastic and cloth. I do not want to spend a lot on them so I am going back and forth between cloth and plastic. Only problem I have with plastic is I can't get them in the colors that I want---well can't find them anyways. The problem with the cloth ones is the only places I have found in the the DM/Ames area are that one is way to expensive(Putting on the Ritz) and the ones in Ames don't have the colors I want. I really wanted to aviod using white or off white. Anyone have suggestions of other places?

Classic Events and Tents was the cheapest I found for renting and they had TONS of colors.

What color are you looking for?

Personally, I don't care for plastic tablecloths. I understand being on a budget, I just think it looks cheap (because it is). Just my opinion!!!

My FMIL found celebrations in Ames, Iowa..they rent their table cloths for about 7.00 the cheapest I found and they are colored. The ones I've found have only white. They also rent runners for 95 cents a piece. Good Luck!

I don't know what venue you have or who you are having cater your food. I know both our venue and our caterer, christianis had them. We are using the black ones that came with the reception venue. We might also be using the ones from our florist/day of coordinator which I think she told me would run about $7.. can't remember for sure. U Betts rental though if you want to look into it.

I am using Celebrations out of Ames and they have been really good to work with! Nice prices to boot!

I 2nd Celebrations and Party Time in Ames -- we are using both. One of them only has white, though -- I can't remember which one?

If budget is a concern, they have what are called "olfin" tablecloths. They are disposable, however they are "linen-like." I think this is what I'm going to end up using since we're going to be having a runner on top of them anyways.

Also, if anyone is looking for cheap runners, I got mine for about 2.50 apiece...they are nice and satin and have all sorts of colors.
